Just back from two weeks in Kefalonia, staying in Katelios, our second visit to the island in 3 years. The island is beautiful, the people are amazingly friendly, the food is absolutely stunning and obviously the weather is top notch. The only bit of the island we're not keen on is Fiskardo; it's where the money people go from across Europe and that is evident in the vibe. It's not a party island (there are clubs in Lassi and Angostoli) so it's never heaving with people (unless the cruise ships are in) but go, hire a car, explore the island, eat, drink and relax.
