How do you know that?
-
American COMPANY, not country.
-
This is totally true. Working for an American country it never ceases to amaze me that they are always coming over and buying last minute Arsenal tickets to watch some Prmeeeer League Soccer [sic]. It's a losing battle when there is the demand there.

What about parking in the streets round (for example) Erdington and getting the train from there - that'd be okay I'd have thought, free parking, short train ride?
-
It's just about strength in depth isn't it though? Adam is still injured, we don't know how long for. Were Ramirez or Puncheon to also get injured, we're then down to De Ridder starting, probably. You have to move, you have to get better than what you have as well. If this guy is better than Adam, or Puncheon, then we move on and improve. Sentimentality has pretty much gone from football; results-driven business and all that guff - but we have to do the same as everyone else which is constantly improve.

Yeah, didn't you know? He's going to be reporting to Jason Dodd as his assistant U18 coach because he always looked up to Doddsy as a player.

Is our current side being competitive in premier league?

Saints vs Chelsea Match & Reactions Thread
Patrick Bateman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
To be honest, I was watching him really closely on purpose - he wasn't horrific, but he was just a bit too flappy for my liking. I'm sure he'll still come good, but I wasn't impressed. -
Saints vs Chelsea Match & Reactions Thread

It's all about opinions, but just got home; thought Guly was anonymous today and Boruc pretty bad. No one really stood out for me apart from Morgan and J Rod who I thought both did well. Highlight of my day was getting off the train at Fleet with some gobby Chelsea fans who were probably late 20s and who got picked up in some sh*t old 4x4, by what appeared to be one of their mothers. Losers. -
I can see him being loaned back to carry on getting experience this season.

I use a MacBook Air for work and at home. It has MS Office on and also for legacy web-based applications that need to run IE, I have an MS VM installed (Parallels Desktop) which I only open up occasionally to do legacy-based tasks (i.e. the ancient timesheet application). I will not go back to a Windows-based laptop for the foreseeable future. This Air is SO quick - it's rammed with applications that run on start-up and it still pastes any Windows-based laptop. If I open my laptop up on a train, it takes me a max of 5 seconds to get in and do what I need. A minute later, the person sat next to me is still waiting for their Windows lump to stabilise and use it. So having been a heavy MS user until 2 years ago, I now won't go back. Windows offers me nothing extra apart from slowness and bugs (and ugly laptops).

Where are they?? When I did the online booking thing several days ago, it looked like "hundreds" of tickets left, not thousands, weird!
-
haha, I like your thinking!
-
No they aren't. They are taking that angle on their story to make a point; that is that Southampton are a selling club so he will be sold. But if you read the article properly, they explain why we no longer need to sell and we probably won't sell him. Read it properly, it's a very good, well written article.

Team marks - I think everyone deserved at least a 7, top performances all round. Puncheon excellent, Morgan excellent, Gaston excellent, Shaw excellent etc etc etc, but my MoTM was Fonte. He has really turned a corner! -
Agree! Going out with the in-laws for a curry, then back to watch TV and drink more wines!
-
If that happens, then, wow! Can't argue with those signings.
-
Fantastic summary! It is a shame that we have 3 "good" goalies, but not one outstanding one. Having said that, I think Boruc still has a role to play - if he doesn't, we need to move him on and get a replacement in for the rest of the season. Would love Friedel on loan, but that won't happen.
-
Thanks, that answers my question - I just didn't know if I was missing out on anything else
-
Perhaps I am missing something, but what is the point of Apple TV? I don't see a need for it at home, at all, but maybe I'm missing the point!? For music, I have a Squeeze Box duet which gets music wirelessly from my NAS, the base unit is connected via optical to my Bose home cinema system (which plays awesome sound for films and music). For films, I have Virgin Media on demand, plus I have hundreds of BluRays and DVDs (I like to collect and keep them to watch again) to choose from. So - I'm either failing to see where Apple TV fits in or, I'm just not target audience?

Will Buckley - Brighton to Saints (link in the Mirror)
Patrick Bateman replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Agree. Also, one would suggest that Mr Hammond has possibly fed back to Mr Adkins on Buckley's character and attitude now as well and how he'd fit in? -
No. I think that yes, when the wardrobe fell from the sky and coated the whole of the east coast of Argentina in tuna flavoured jam, that there was a President who went for a walk in the park, where she stumbled on a Christmas Pudding that was ignited using water from the fish gods of the Pacific and then, De Ridder played according to Mayan prophecy.

I actually don't understand what you're saying? Wagwan = ? Wiv = with? This = This Homes = ? Therefore it makes absolutely no sense to me what-so-ever.
