  1. Not great was he? I don't think he's in any danger of getting near the first team soon. I thought Cody Cropper was pretty good (commanding and solid) and our number 6 - sorry, I have no idea who it was? Mayuka will be good for us though - think he needs to settle. Man Utd's nippers didn't seem any big deal to be honest.
  2. Agreed. We have to beat this dross, especially during their down periods.
  3. One hundred and six, one hundred and six, we [sic] hold the record, one hundred and six. We don't give a f**k, we don't give a f**k, we are svamtum, we don't give a f**k. The only thing I remember from the last match. ********, hope we smash them.
  4. I thought that, he looks a bit ill!
  5. Agree! When's it on, this Friday or next Friday? I always thought he was a bit of a c*ck anyway, so to see him take a pasting will be hilarious.

  7. Brilliant.
  8. If Shaw does get injured, they I'd imagine Fox would "do" at left back. But yes, would be good to have some class back up in case. But would someone come in as back up and would they want to block Shaw's development/progress?
  9. Study this; http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table Norwich haven't won away and have only scored 4 goals in 7 matches away. Chances are they may get one against us, however, play as we have been doing and I think (hope?) we should win. Then I'd take a draw at Anfield as the odds would suggest that's a likely outcome I think. 4 points from the next 2 matches would be lovely and not too greedy surely?
  10. Can't see any sales at all to be honest. Our squad isn't huge, those on loan will no doubt stay on loan and probably a couple more will follow, but I can't see any being sold yet.
  11. But mate, you know as well as I do that people's opinions with football change more often than their pants. All I'll say (again) is; "Oh no, not Jerry f***ing Edwards"
  12. Good.
  13. I have no idea. Any reason you're asking other people who don't know? I suggest you either ask Nigel directly or, wait and bloody see at the weekend. Jesus wept.
  14. I have no words for this thread. Maybe one, muppet.
  15. Personally have no feeling towards Pardew, so will treat him as I would Wenger - anonymous. Various managers have come and gone that we've 'loved', i.e. Dave Jones and Pearson come immediately to mind; but the only ex-manager(s) I think I would still applaud are Strachan and Lawrie. The rest? Nah, not bothered.
  16. Agree. Pivotal in getting 2x promotions - he should be remembered in the same way as former Saints greats when he retires. Let's face it, I can see him finishing his career with us now - even if it means he steps down to a bit part and helps his replacements up their game.
  17. No it wasn't. Chaplow was good in division 2 and helped us get to the top flight, but no one ever said "Chaplow is pure class and amazing and a future legend".
  18. Presume you're being sarcastic? Or just a div.
  19. That guy was supposed to be the next massive things, goals for fun in the under-teams etc etc etc.
  20. Paul Scholes. Okay, unrealistic, but I don't think there are going to be many players available for us - Dawson a possible, but unlikely. We'll get a couple of European league players no doubt - but it doesn't matter so long as they are; 1. Better than Fonte, Jos and Maya 2. Hard as f*ck and willing to get stuck in 3. Got a bit of experience
  21. Was in the Kingsland actually with my blanket and Thermos!
  22. Could not believe the sheer amount of people leaving with 5 minutes to go, with a match at 1-1 and Saints chasing the winners. Weirdos!
  23. No, think of it like this; 300 teams in the bottom three >> 159 of those teams have been relegated As a subset of the original 300 teams, there were 100 teams in the bottom spot, 50 of those teams were relegated. So statistically, if you are bottom, you are slightly more likely to stay up than if you were 18th or 19th. They are subsets of each other. It's a poor couple of stats to quote together really as they may not be perfect intersections of each other either. But you get the point.
