Oh, come on Trousers, it's because the printer's credit contoller is doing their job, read the credit reports and has asked for money up front. You know that, I know that, but hey; conspiracy theories are fun...

Well, obviously he's lightweight.. he's Japanese. Forget the height and weight stats, everybody knows they're all short. Just like all Italians are shorter than me. Well actually, in my women's footie league there may be one or two my height, but these general rules sometimes work ;-)... But best to check your facts before posting. Anyway, I've been pushed off the ball by smaller players when I didn't get my weight right..

Oh, you *****! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

That's my view too, although the local "English" pub does some tasty unfiltered German lager and Weissen which I actually prefer to the imported British keg stuff. They once only had some unpasteurised stuff from a local micro-brewery and that was good. I've a few bottles of English stuff in the cellar (Pedigree etc.) bought on supermarket offer at Christmas but I don't seem to have got enough: possibly too many internet matchday streams to watch...

Ah, OK, but I'd still keep an eye on it! It's going to be freezing all week (-14 at times) and goodness what I'm going to look like tomorrow if I decide to go skiing - Michelin woman with all the layers!

Just been checking Serie A: games in doubt and they've changed the evening KOs to the afternoon. PAy TV not happy, sod 'em..

I presume they must have undersoil heating as _all_ non fully-pro fixtures have been called off here in NW Italy all the way down to the coast. Worth checking with a local, anyway. Not that much snow low down in ski resort terms (although the off-piste was gloriously light mid-week) but at -11 on the way to work this morning and getting colder at the week-end it's not going to shift. Ironic really as we've had great and mild weather since the New Year during our winter break!

Anybody know which company is involved? Mind you, even with a part-time credit controller just out school they should have enough nous not to give credit.. Locals: perhaps a few emails... I think NC can be left to cope on his own!

Glad I read to the end of the thread because I was just going to highlight that quote as I remembered what you'd said about their arrogance before. Perhaps one of the few things Cala said that was correct.

To be honest, I think if he did ask for a transfer we should give him more credit for intelligence. With your professional career ahead of you would you really want to struggle in that morass any longer than actually necessary? I'm going to credit him with a bit of insight and foresight!

Yep, people always talk about wage demands.. You can _demand_ all you like....
-
I used to work for the local leccy company and we didn't like cutting off socially needy people: for one thing it's bad publicity.. So we used to put in prepayment meters. :-) Now there's a scenario you all might like to imagine..

Well, perhaps he just likes being paid, and he wouldn't have to move. Plus he'd be able to go and see AFC Pompey at Moneyfields on a Sunday morning..

The song you want from that period is "The Rout of the Blues" ..Yay As I crossed over Salisbury Plain A dainty fine sight I beheld The lasses were crying and tearing their hair For the Rout had just come for the Blues The Rout had just come for the Blues I've just got in and steaming too... maybe thi is on the wrong thread....

The guy you quoted may have a point but I would argue that the WUP would be reasonable, "only two months" or not because there has been a prioritisation by the club of paying other bills and even increasing liabilities instead of paying tax. Yes, the debtor has "been wholly unreasonable". But as he says the CVA becomes relevant as it reflects the ability of the company to pay going forward, and that ability seems, at the moment, to be entirely absent...

The 5th Round Draw - Bolton at home (if we beat Millwall!)
suewhistle replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
I remember seeing Bobby Stokes score 2 against them away in an FA cup replay back when I was a student at UoS. Had to pretend to be miserable when I left the ground and then made a sprint for the coaches. The joys of not having any lectures on a Wednesday! -

Just been watching an internet stream of the Watford - Spurs game. Even the Romanian commentators were talking about Harry and his "evasion fiscal"!

Yep, time certainly rushes by when you're enjoying yourself...

Well, a pint and a half of decent ale wouldn't last long in my hands but I've only ever had one beer at St. Mary's and that was more than enough: I'd rather wait for a shared jug at The Guide Dog or a few pints at The Junction...

Why do loads of people not rate De Ridder?
suewhistle replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
I have hopes, although my views are limited to a few live games and some internet feeds. But I'm not sure we've exploited his pace in the best way. Some of our tight passing can be good but we need to move it a bit quicker sometimes so that he can receive it when he's already in movement forward, not coming back into tight spaces, where, as people have said, he goes round in circles. Crossing and decision making could be better (doesn't that almost always apply?), but I think some of the criticism is unfair and I'm certainly not disappointed when I see him on the team sheet. -
Just for spelling "attendance" incorrectly? Or perhaps you typed it in a sarcastic and gloating manner? I think this saying has been seen here but "don't wrestle with a pig because you'll get all dirty and the pig will enjoy the experience"...

Pompey at home- something a bit special

Don't spoil it after Alpine's just made a good joke!

True, bit of space there, and at King George V playing fields as well. The pitches at the sailing centre on the Eastern Road are far better though, even if always covered in copious amounts of goose poo. Let's not even talk about the dire pitches at Bransbury Park...
