  1. Krill speak, is that what they speak in Whales??
  2. Yah gotta keep your sense of humour: and that round here is appreciated. i reckon we'll all help Portsmouth afc an'all...
  3. Hear, hear. Whichever the mod...
  4. and some of us are Thorens women...
  5. Well, I suggest that you volunteer for the London Olympics so that all those foreigners can understand that we too, in the UK, have peasants who have never left their village and have attitudes to match, and furthermore don't understand the international recognised symbols for toilets and bars. (Although how you are expected to help fairly aware foreign visitors escapes me..)..
  6. Indeed! I was playing off the bench for my local women's side in Italy today (6-1 to us, and I missed an open goal....). Chatting to the captain on the bench and. like most Italians, she was amazed at our 26k crowd for a third division team...
  7. Really? heh, heh, I've been out playing footie for my local women's team and obviously this was the first site I checked when I got home. Ooff for a snicker...
  8. Luck going our way as well now?
  9. Nice.. My signing on just came through this morning so on the bench tomorrow. Shall take it easy for the first Saturday in ages...

  13. Nice, ta! Let's hope they see us win... and that Lamberts penalty has boosted his confidence..
  14. What sort of crowd?
  15. I've been to Antwerp on business and no chance to drink (seriously) but I did have a few glasses of the local Koenig beer. It was OK, but too gassy and cold. Blow me if a year later in the Wetherspoons in London Road on the way to SMS it was on sale: on draught as a real ale so not gassy and a decent temperature - twice as good, and I probably had twice as much as it slipped down marvellously. Can't remember the game mind... Anyone from Wetherspoons reading this, how about it again? More a winter brew as it was quite strong and malty, but good enough to make me write this..
  16. Liked him when he was here before. Someone commented that he doesn't have pace, but he certainly wasn't slow (like Wooton for example). Interesting comment from NA on the OS . Makes you wonder, but coming back to a place he liked as is at least a bit familiar with might be the change he needs.
  17. Can I second that? For what it's worth I think you're wrong about Lambert but right about the Swiss tour, having seen one of the games. Nice place and all that, but the wrong opposition at the wrong time (the start of their season). On the general question of fitness I've always thought that the department involved would have their own professional standards so I'm not sure what might have happened if they really have been that unfit (ignoring injuries).
  18. Yes, I long ago came to the conclusion that Turkish is a w****r!
  19. Full Time
  20. Well, get them to play OWTSGMI, and join in!
  21. Well, send Steve a Pm and offer him some advice. It could be a simple setting he's got wrong somewhere. After that give him grief if you think it's warranted...
  22. e, it's not right, is it? Almost as bad as my typing...
  23. OK 1976_child, calm down, Steve is probably elsewhere, tearing his hair out... BUT, Stev
  24. Another one, pleeease...
