Very sure. Utterly convinced infact. It is a natural human reaction. The time from when the ball bounces infront of him and towards him to the time where it hits his hand is less than a second. Are you telling me anyone in the world can seriously go through the thought process of deciding whether to leave his hand there and keep it in or pull his hand away and then actually doing the action itself. I can't be arsed to get technical and discuss with you the decision making processs and how your mind and body works before you actually do an action but trust me, to think about pulling it away and then actually pulling it away would take alot longer than needed in this instance for Henry to remove his hand than to do the thing that comes as an human nature instinct to keep the ball in play with his hand. You realise you are talking complete and utter tosh? If that scenario werre to happen you'd call for us to play a replay? That will never happpen. If Henry had the chance to do it again he would not own up to the referee at all. Did Trotman own up to the referee when he kicked the ball out of the Southends keepers hands? No. That scenario happens every week at some level of football, just because its a high profile game does not make it anyy more or less cheating. Football is all about cheating. When the ball clearly left the play from the player and he still raises hands to appeal to the ref to get a corner it's the same cheating. There is a good chance a goal would be scored from that wrong corner. If the wall moves closer to the ball during the free kick it's the same cheating that can prevent a goal scored. Holding the ball or knocking it away after conceding a free kick to time waste and letting your teammates to return to defense if there was a break from the opposite team. Defenders clearly tripping the attackers and then pretending they didn't touch him. If the ref doesn't give a penner they usually start to accuse the attacker of diving just to make the referee sure he made a right decision. Holding the players during the free kicks and corners is the same. The fact that it's done every match doesn't make it any less of cheating. The ball is not even in play yet and it's a disallowed act. Goalkeepers consiously moving of the line during the penalty kick is cheating too. Any of these happens regularly and can change the result of the match like what happened with Henry yesterday. What he did is cheating. But acts of cheating happen every match in double numbers and it's not right at all to single Henry out. All the possible cheatings I mentioned and many more should be punished too. However if we did tihs and cheating was stamped out of the game...the game would be far worse off for it.

Hahahaha. The most disgusting goal ever? Hahahaha. Such an over reaction on this board and in the media. If Robbie Keane does it he's a hero. Nobody in the world, and I seriously mean nobody, would have pulled his arm away and let the ball run past him for a goal kick. Its a natural human reaction to keep the ball in as it goes past you. If you were Henry, nobody in the world would have turned around after the goal is scored or the game is over and declare that it should not stand because "I handballed it." and demand a replay of the game or at the time demand that the opposition have a free kick. If you were the ref, nobody in the world would have spotted it. The over reaction is hilarious in this instance.

Would love him here. But I honestly can't see us signing him as we don't need him. Would be hilarious if we did though. This board would go into meltdown over the outrage.

As a student myself I can confirm that the majority of students know there limits. However its going past those limits and generally getting ****ed out of your face that is the best part. Waking up in a pool of your own vomit with a kebab in one hand and a random vagina on the other is awesome. I'd also like to point out the the majority of trouble is caused on Friday/Saturday nights. Alot of students do not go out into town, especially in Southampton, on those nights because prices do not go down like they do during the week. Students will normally host and attend house parties at the weekend. The majority of trouble caused at weekends will be caused by people with jobs during the week who live for the weekend and go out and cause trouble between themselves because they are angry about the fact that they wasted the youth away and live a **** poor boring life during the week.

Mayweather has said himself on a radio interview doing the rounds on the net that he's not interested in fighting for the respect/challenge/glory mainly the money. If they throw enough money at it, it could happen but I wouldn't bet on it. He got ripped to shreds on this interview because they accused him of bottling fighting anyone great and he kept backing out of it by mentioning its not up to him who he fights and its down to money.

He was pretty poo today lets be honest. Him and Trotman must be two of the dumbest footballers around. Trotman is very clumsy and Antonio kept trying to take on a left back who after the first 10 minutes just stood 5 yards off him every time he got the ball. Pratically inviting him to ping the ball in early but nope, he kept attempting to take him on.

Yep. It happens. If you wanna catch Lallana and his mates out pop down B'mouth on a weekend or a Tuesday night. If you want to catch some of the younger lads, like Mellis, Doble, McLaggon etc then pop round the polygon area on a Tuesday night. The players have wednesday off and are aloud to go out and drink. It happens at every level in football not just ours. I hate it when people get on there high horse about players drinking. The majority of players do it. Just like the majority of young lads do it. It doesn't affect there performance on a Saturday so why care?

He was told a while ago that its either retire from football now or play again and probably not be able to walk when he's older. I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing him in a Saints shirt anytime soon.

Davis James Thomas Trotman Harding Antonio Mellis Morgan Lallana Lambert Connolly Imo.

Yeah shocking fight but really for Haye to win it was never going to be any different. Done something nobody else has done really and made Valuev wobble in the last round. Haye v Vitali will be a much better fight worth watching when it happens. Tonight he fought a tactical masterclass and pulled it off, but I honestly can not see Haye doing anything other than trying to knock out as many fighters as he can from now on. He's an entertainer in this sport and won't be wanting to tactially fight anyone again. It had to be done tonight against a man 7 stone heavier, but he won't be wanting to do it again.

To the people who have put him as a foreground sugar daddy, does he give you money in a realistic way or a Man City never ending have what you want way? -
Can't be arsed to read through this but how anyone can actually believe in "god" in this day and age and with science proving it to be bullpoo is actually beyond me. Religion is a different thing though. Its still turd but i respect that people need to have something to hold onto to help them through there lives. I don't respect anyone who actually believes in god.

She's not just ****ging him. He wants to settle down with her in LA. Lucky **** he is.

The incident between Beattie and our fans...?
-
To be fair if Lambert gets injured, i'd prefer and expect him to be ahead of Saga so fair play if he has turned it down. Wouldn't be suprised if he got some sort of run out against Torquay.
-
Firstly "You are talking about a situation well in the future where unless you have a crystal ball, you cannot make that prediction" you say... To be fair so are you. Fact is you make predictions based on previous experiences and fact is in the football world, good quality youngsters with ability will eventually leave the club for a bigger one. Its the way the football world works. In reality, Cortese's statement is nothing but the same thing most chairman will say about there academys and in reality this statement of intent from him will mean nothing when it comes to trying to keep our players. There is very few clubs in the premier league, let alone lower than that (Which if you haven't noticed we are) that can keep there top youngsters if better clubs want them and if the right money is offered. Cortese statement sounds brilliant, but take it with a pinch of salt please as unless the footballing world gets changed upside down in the next couple of years, we will be selling players on to bigger clubs... because every club does.
-
Can't believe that there is actually a debate going on here. 2 things. 1) Anyone claiming they wouldn't take him after he's done his sentance and is out is a fool. 2) He'll go to a better club than ours. He's a good striker.

So he's a sugar daddy that doesn't really back his manager and sells players behind the managers back? Brilliant sugar daddy he sounds. -

Whats the deal with transfer budgets with Markus in this then? Matt Le God might want to give us a little insight into what Markus might be doing for us in season 2 and onwards... So far for me, I've signed Simeon Jackson and Kiki Muzino and i'm mid table in december. I have 2 games in hand though and if I win i'll be in or around the play offs. Doing pretty well. Jackson is superb with Lambert and Papa in a 433. Not too sure where/if anywhere I need to stregthen in January. -
There is nothing "easy" about coming back from a goal down. 11 men or not. As we are proving now.
-
Then you are a fool. They could miss the penalty and hold out with 10 men. Giving that a shot is better than just conceding.
-
Obvious and boring question but anywhere to listen other than Saints player?
-
He has way more potential than Antonio. We won't be signing Mellis at any price, let alone the right one. He's one of Chelsea's biggest prospects and I know many Chelsea ST holders who rate him very highly. There coaching staff have him down as a big prospect for them.
-
If one of our current midfielders (Wotton, Hammond, Morgan) gets injured, who do you expect to fill in? And I say fill in very lightly. He's a better player than Wotton, a better footballer and prospect than Hammond and is a better attacking option than Morgan. Before he went to play for England Under 19's he was first choice ahead of Wotton and he scored in every game he played for England that week. Shh.
