  1. They have been robbed but Zlaten on his day is twice the player Eto is. The only problem is his day never comes in big games. If that changes Barca will be unbeatable again IMO.
  2. Much more likely to score goals on his own than Rasiak is. I honestly do not see how anyone can argue against John being the better play. His touch and hold up play for a start is miles better than Rasiak. There finishing prowess is the same but Sterns all round play is better. There both lazy ****s but I have no problem with either of them doing that if they have someone with them. I have a problem with Rasiak's inability to do anything but toe poke a sitter home. Something John could do while bringing others into the game. John has scored some schorers from distance, his hat trick comes to mind whereas Rasiak needs it on a plate. I simply do not see the arguement against John if one has to go. I'd happily keep both with a quick pacey striker but if one is going, which it seems is happening i'd rather Rasiak went because he offers nothing else.
  3. Corrected. http://video.turk.net/video/izle/17374/Ankaragucu-Darius-Vassel-i-Ankara-ya-getirdi---ANKARA/
  4. No idea how you have come to that conclusion. Stern is much more powerful than Rasiak. Both are your typical in the box strikers but John offers much more than Rasiak outside of it. His ability to hold the ball up with his strength and touch is so much more than Rasiak who's first touch is hideous and ability to hold up the ball is non existant. They'll both score goals in this league however John will create more of his own. Therefore have more chances to score than Rasiak who needs it pratically on a plate. I wouldn't mind keeping Rasiak but you'd need a Kenwyne Jones esq player alongside of him who is going to run all day and carve chances out for him. John could play upfront on his own if needed but obviously you'd prefer to play him with a pacey tricky striker. I'd much prefer John than Rasiak.
  5. You are wrong about Saga/Rasiak/John by the way. For a start none of them set the world alight while they were on loan at other clubs did they? I also think you under estimate how deep in the **** we were financially when Lowe came back. He made numerous cut costing decisions including the stadium/park and ride etc, but when it came to it the quickest and easiest way of getting some much needed cash into the club was getting 3 highly paid players off the wage bill and get paid cash for the pleasure. The 3 clubs that took these players paid CASH sums aswell as Swansea for Dyer to have them on loan of the season. Hence the reason we couldn't call any of them back early. Euell, Davis and Skacel were also all offered around but nobody wanted them. It was a gamble. But a gamble that needed to be taken because we would have been in administration alot earlier. The whole Pearson/JP thing is up for debate. Clearly a mistake but you can't blame a new owner so to speak for wanting to bring his own man in. The whole Lowe bashing is clearly because its the easy option. Yes he's partially to blame, but not wholey. Michael Wilde has much more to answer for IMO. Our relegation from the Prem could be Lowe's fault yes, but not the Championship.
  6. 2 Things. 1) We'd ****ing love it if ML did the same for us. It's how you become succesful in football nowadays. You spend money and loads of it. Even Villa who spend a fair bit are not quite good enough. Same with Everton. Anybody who says they wouldn't, is not being realistic. For any club to break into the top 6 now you need to spend money. And the more you spend the more chance of success. Hate people who say its ruining the game. No its not. Its making the prem more interesting and more appealing to be involved in. 2) Don't get the massive over reaction of citys so called 8 strikers. Only Adebayor, Tevez and Santa Cruz are any good. Robinho will be used as a winger and has never been an out and out striker. Caicedo is guff. Jo will never return unless he scores shed loads for Everton this season. Boijinov will be sold to an italian club shortly and Bellamy will play the odd game here and there and effectively is there 4th striker. Which every club needs.
  7. Wouldn't be ideal and I doubt Pardew would sign him as only a player. A player/coach could be possible though as I have no doubts he'd be wanting to go into coaching very shortly. Don't see him ever being employed by this club soley as a player.
  8. His effort and work rate is fine. Plus he's strong so he was ideal to get the ball upto at the end of last season. But he actually lacks any footballing ability at all. He couldn't strike a match and has the most shocking first touch I have ever seen. Hideous player. But in his defence he ran around a bit and held a few people off which got himself and others like McGoldrick into some decent positions. Get rid of him. We can do alot better now.
  9. No thanks. As i'm sure has been pointed out in this thread to the idiots who would love him back...He couldn't get in the Leeds team last season. People need to realise players change. He's changed from the promising Under 21 captain and Prem League player to someone who's been found out as only having a bit of energy and very little technical ability at all.
  10. Stern John will merk this league given the chance. Jason Euell is by far the worst footballer this club has ever seen.
  11. You are right, its not a coincedence. I would say however Milner is a class act compared to some of our younger players and that is the main reason why he is in a top 6 club. But he is one player. There are probably others in football. Just as there is 23yr olds not in football that don't drink. However there are footballers who drink just as there is non footballers that drink. Its life. It's what human beings do. Its the british culture and it is something that bar the odd player like Milner that will not change. It sucks but you have to remember these boys are humans aswell. Not just these footballers that we think should be training hard all week and playing well on a Saturday. They are not robots that we should try and control as fans. They are human beings. Young adults who can make there own decisions and have there own personal lifes outside of football. The only thing that makes them different to us is they are much better at football than we are and lucky sods to be able to be paid to do something we'd all love to do. That shouldn't change your chance to go out and have a drink. However many you want. Just as we have the right to drink as much as we want and when we want. So do they.
  12. I study sport science so I'm not going to deny the affects of alcohol on athletes. But drinking is a culture in England. Whether its athletes or not it is going to happen. It does happen and it will continue to happen. It doesn't stop them playing on a Saturday because they don't do it the night before. They do it just as much as any other players at any other football. Apart from Arsenal. It would take a massive overhaul in culture of football to stamp it out as someone suggested above. Even Strachan/Pearson couldn't do it. Wenger did it by an overhaul of the whole club, including bringing in the youngsters from all over the world whose culture doesnt involve getting smashed all week. Nobody would be able to stamp it out of our kids right now. It's something we have to accept like every other club and just deal with it.
  13. Alot of kids have this trait generally. Alot of footballers have this trait. Kids get smashed. Footballers get smashed. Lloyd James, Lallana, Gillet, Lancashire etc are all young footballers, they are going to go out on the last just as much as anyone. As long as they are fit and ready to play on a Saturday who gives an arse? Every football club has players who go get steaming. Whether it was under Pearson or Strachan it would still be the same.
  14. You are deluded. HTH.
  15. Lets be honest, if I was Lallana i'd be annoyed aswell. That said, its also fact he's happy to play for us. He just wants to play football as someone else posted on here but if you knew a prem team wanted you, you'd be intrigued.
  16. No idea how much but it is fact that Wolves had a bid rejected for him. It is also fact that he was pretty annoyed by that.
  17. Wise and Poyet anyone? Them or Bothroyd. By fair the most realistic names mentioned and I'll be very happy with either.
  18. He's probably got the quickest feet in the league. By far the squad. And probably most of the CCC last year. His end product is up for debate but as a footballer he has potential to be a good little playmaker. In a keegan like team he'd probably be a world beater. In a strachan team he'd be like Svensson. Its about finding the perfect role for a player like him.
  19. Want to try realistic targets? Strachan. Coppell. Pearson. Keegan. Hoddle. Never going to happen.
  20. I think MLT and ML's little chat when it happens will put any thoughts of Adams in ML head well and truely to bed.
  21. Would love him but there is more chance of Strachan, Hoddle, Pearson or Coppell being appointed. And neither of them are going to happen either despite what retards on here might think.
  22. 2 things. 1) Y/A - Whats the age limit on this and does a student bring me into this bracket? 2) Is there a way of paying through installments?
  23. Where is the evidence that is he a billionaire btw? And worth 2.5billion? Obviously his Mali Group has made some decent turn over but has anyone got some facts about this? Apart from the reports which all seemed to have copied each other, can we actually prove he's a billionaire? His family is rich and I cant imagine he sold his shares back to them on the cheap but I'd like to see some actual proof of his worth if possible...
  24. You are quite honestly the most boring son of a ***** on here. That is fact. You know **** all but continue to post some of the most depressing views on life all over this forum like everyone should take notice of you because you know better. You have this view everything is going to go tits up and anybody who doesn't agree with you is wrong. Do shut up. Your life must be hideous.
  25. Anybody ever tried transferring funds from one country to another? Transferring it in this country takes at least a day to go through. Boring moaning ****s.
