Best half of the season by miles. So nice to see pace and threat up front, not Armstrong. Dibling Fermandes and Aribo excellent. Great to watch. Whatever happens next, it feels like the manager is making his statement

Just been watching the build up with the players skulking around on the pitch in little groups and a few of them staring at their phones on their own, headphones on (tall Paul I’m looking at you). Terrible body language. Walker Peters sheepishly saying they were there to win, to camera, not wholly convincingly. I fear a drubbing. But at least we haven’t got to watch Armstrong running round aimlessly like a rabbit in a big field.

Thought Fernandez was brilliant tonight. And Lesley. How Dibling got MoM is beyond me. Great to see Saints win again though. Even enjoyed the fan zone thing. And Sulemana actually looked ok. What a good day. Predicted 3-0 but didn’t put a bet on. Damn.

Can we get Sean Dyche now please? At least for next season?

The absolute best and most crucial transfer would be to get Rasmus Ankersen out of this club before he ruins it even further with his hopeless Poundland Moneyballing.

We look pretty good. Amazing how much impact Juric has made on the way we play in such a short space of time. Lively. A breath of fresh air.

Hugely improved intensity everywhere. Better directness. More cohesion and pace. Big unlucky with the goal. Shame about Suguwara’s ability and Armstrong continuing to be a total waste of space. Thought Tall Paul was excellent and shows just how criminal it was to avoid using him. Same largely for Les. Ho hum. At least we aren’t playing that awful brand of football anymore. What is the point of Armstrong? Useless. At least tall Paul holds it up. Shall we try and shoot? Attack? Win a game? This lot are not great. Better to give it a go than hang on for a fairly useless point. Otherwise why bother?

The real problem is Ankersen and this dallying with the thought of Mr ex-Demmark but no experience in the Prem is yet another indication that he is the turd we cannot flush. Dyche was the obvious best choice last time but oh no, Ankersen’s huge brain and bollocks algorithm knew better. Cue two disastrous appointments we are only now recovering from. Now his vanity seems to point to trying desperately to redo the fluke he managed with Thomas Frank with Hjulmand now. So sick of his shitness infecting the club. Swallow the pain, appoint Moyes. And give him cash. Or if you must, go for Rohl. If we go for Rusk or Lallana it’s all over.

Unbeaten for a good 60 seconds though, be fair. We were so brave in that period. McCarthy did a nice jump over the ball too. Made it look like a tough save.

I’ll admit a small part of me hopes we lose by just enough goals to get a new manager in, for the long term security of the club and to avoid being a laughing stock for the rest of the season. Sorry.

We are so loose with possession it’s criminal. Wouldn’t see this in Tyronleague football. Simply lose the ball too easily all over the park. And that is a system/manager thing. Useless.
