Me too. I would add my suspicion that a possible reason for all of this is that - maybe - Pards did talk to West Ham about taking over from Zola until the little Italian clung on, and that NC either was told or found out. I think it also possible that Pards has agreed to go or NC has asked Hughes to take over as his 'punishment'. When it gets this complex, I'd say relations have broken down. Mind you, could all be balls and just our/my paranoia. I'm not a massive fan of Pards but would opt for a bit of stability right now, certainly over Hughes, who I remember seemingly not really trying for us under Dave Jones (over 50 apps, two goals), and creating hostility in the dressing room, largely because of the wages he was taking.

Pardew to the Hammers (still), hence Hughes to us (rumours). Hope we keep Pards but wouldn't be bad scenario if he goes. Him taking Lambert with him might be. PS can he take Davis?

I suspect the clamour for TV replays is all whipped up by...the TV companies. Oooh. I wonder why. FIFA/UEFA/the FA/The Premier League might not be keen to cede most of their power to Sky and have to pay for the privilege. In cricket the replay system has led to appeals, which has led to the umpire losing authority and respect. And bad/wrong decisions are still made.

I would have preferred it if he hadn't have been 'loyal' (do you have any evidence that West Ham did not pull out of the deal?) and would put a question mark over whether across the season he has been a net (no pun intended) points saver. Remember all the **** ups. You can call it churlish if you like (not bovvered) but that's my opinion, which you say in footballer stylee is okay, 'at the end of the day.' I still think he's way too poor on crosses and distribution - but hey, still good for another year of League One footie, I guess and these polls tend to favour the keepers you 'remember' - for whatever reason... (see also Harte scores but can't defend) Amazed Fonte didn't get in, though. Oozes 'I'm back off to the Championship' class...

Rather than just going pop, I'd prefer them to dribble down the leagues and slip ignominiously from it, thus giving us years of pleasure and laughter. But really I think the OP might have been a piiss take.
