I reckon there will be lots and lots of defensive training drills this week, and Mr A will approach the game with the intention of keeping a clean sheet first and hope the goals at the other end will come. If he does I dont think that will be a bad plan necessarily as as been mentioned we've not been so good on the clean sheets this season to date Scrappy 1-0 to SFC

Saudi woman to be lashed for defying driving ban
keithd replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in Motoring Forum
i just googled that. At the bottom of the story i read it said that a total of 43 people have been executed in Saudi this year. Nice. -
another example would have been WE used to sing it for Antti Niemi, rather than United!

Anybody who has had a run of X amount of games without a goal, desperately low on luck and form. S'ok Saints are coming up soon, you'll be alright

Tough, very tough. Any of the 3 results wont come as a surprise to any. Avoid defeat and I'd say NA is nailed on for manager of the month. 2-2

He's dead now...

Ah the old "hilarious" ebay listing. Tedious beyond words now, other than the one's i've just used.

Going (purely) on the BBC stats... They had more possession than us They had more shots on target than us They had more shots off target than us They had more corners than us So I am therefore happy with a point

Look what a military plane dropped outside the pentagon after the CIA threw a bomb/missile into it!!
-
aside from all the other "interesting" bits you just posted, this stuck out. Are you/they saying that the plane flew 70 feet over the pentagon and went on its way? Oh and those that were on that plane are where now? Locked up in Area 51 or executed somewhere?

i've heard of stories of plonkers with these types of piercing are victims of people who attach padlocks to them. Which I find amusing. Whether its true or not I cant verify, but its something for you all to consider

If its anything like his twitter account it'll be awesome

I'd like to vote for Golden Jade, Fair Oak/Bishopstoke. Decent portion size (fnarr), always good quality. Although new menu/chef recently has led them to go pretty spicy on a lot of meals.

I was at the WTC around 8.30 local time priming the fuses for the multiple explosives me and some pals had planted. I then spoke to a BBC journalist and told him WTC Building 7 would come down later that morning and whatever he did he mustnt announce it too early I then hot footed it across to the Pentagon to oversee the 2nd controlled explosion, then I flew a military craft and scattered bits of an AA plane across the lawns. Busy busy busy day for me

the game?

Why the F**k have we appointed Strachan. He's a joke, done nothing at Coventry and my current faux pas... We need to replace Lambert, he isnt cut out for the Championship, not quick enough. League 1 is his level.

I is 43, the events that remain in my mind for one reason or your mother are (in no particular order)... 1. 9/11 2. Death of Diana 3. "Cold War" betwixt US and USSR. Seemed almost inevitable in the early 80's there would be a nuclear strike on somebody, there were even tips on how to protect yourself on TV 4. Berlin Wall coming down 5. First Iraq war. Watching a cruise missile flying down the road on TV made me realise that wars are fought diffently than what I was used to seeing in WW2 films and documentaries

No doubt last minute injunctions will prevent Despatches from naming him Does this come as a surprise to anybody? Highly paid young man takes cocaine?

At work, failing miserably to get feeds from BBC/Sky/Reuters etc etc. Ended up getting in depth coverage on Ugly Inside courtesy of Um Pahars who, IIRC, was working for Meridian TV at the time and was obviously getting all the live links in from all the relevant channels Think I listened into Radio 4 for the next 3-4 weeks on the way to and from work, a departure from the usual Radio 1 at the time, just totally fascinated by all the stories the coverage the rescue and recovery attempts. 10 years ago? jeepers

Pretty much all decent penos too, even the one saved wasnt the worse (or worst) i've ever seen

Soccer saturday is the nuts. If he means Soccer AM with Chamberlain etc then I totally agree. Just a bunch of fking farmyard animals shouting mooing and screeching whenever anybody says anything. Hate to say it but was good when Lovejoy did it, maybe its just me getting old...

How many goals will we score in all competitions this season?
keithd replied to eastleighhalo's topic in The Saints
dont be stupid. 2,000 -
We about a 2 minute walk from Maceys. Cab fare (in 2008) was $40 from JFK. Fixed rate for all yellow cabs IIRC

Shed Seven at the Pyramids on their "lets reform for cash not for the art" tour a couple of years back. Rick Whitter was off his head, pished up Im almost certain of it. Loved them in the early 90's and wished I'd kept it that way, as a memory Meatloaf in the mid 80's, during his "Midnight at the Lost and Found" tour. I was young, my first proper gig and didnt really understand the reason most artists tour is to promote new material. I just wanted to hear Bat from start to finish.

When I visited for my 40th couple of years back we took a boat trip that circumnavigated (if thats the right word) the whole of Manhatten, trip lasted about 3-4 hours, very very funny cap'n did the narration of the tour and was ruddy well worth the money. Doesnt stop at any point IIRC, so if you want to visit Staten and Statue of Liberty then thats maybe not the one for you, but you do get to see loads of other places you'd maybe not get to see. When you've done the Empire find a little Irish Bar thats directly opposite the side entrance, get a cheeky beer and get the best buffalo wings i've ever had as a snackette. The spicy one's will blow ya tits off And do everything else that everybody else suggested. I was there for 5 days only and barely scratched at the surface! Straight into the top 2 favorite cities I've ever visited
