  1. Saints 92 Reading 88 WHU 87 Birmingham 73 Brighton 72 Middlesbrough 72
  2. They can, but someone who leaves on 80 minutes when 'supporting' a team that is on the verge of promotion to the Premier League is an absolute c*nt, IMO
  3. It's ****ing pathetic that 5k(ish) fans were leaving with 5-10 mins to go. The team deserved applause on leaving the pitch, and clearly appreciated the few that stayed. Seems that too many JCL c*nts turn up and expect a good result as part of their £24 ticket fee. We'll always have a core of 20000, and the rest are plastic c*nts who will probably give the big one to the skates when we bash them 5-0.
  4. F*ck knows how, but me and the girlfriend still end up struggling to save any considerable money on £50k+ between us. I chuck £500 in the joint account for rent, sky, council tax etc, and left with about £1300 after my other bills. Saints is costing me a fortune, about £100 every Saturday home game once the **** up has finished, and away games are expensive! Didn't get any change from £200 for Millwall away, and we won £650 between 5 of us!
  5. This. We're heading to town early to make the most of the weather and beer on sale
  6. That would do my brains in as a WHU fan, playing a centre half in front of 2 centre halves, in a home game. Pretty sure Fat Sam has done that against cannon fodder sides as well recently. Shocking.

    Festivals

I think I'm right in saying that Outlook festival is the same as Hideout festival in that it was set up by the people who run The Warehouse Project, which is based in Manchester. Hideout was top notch but you're right in that it's aimed at Brits. I was talking to a couple of girls from Zagreb who have a holiday on the island where the festivals are (Pag) every year, and they were gutted that they couldn't get into the clubs being used for the festival. If you want a festival abroad with an international feel, try Exit Festival in Serbia. We went in 2009 for the 10th anniversary and it was by far the best festival I've done. 8pm-8am for 4 nights from Thursday to Sunday. It's set in a 17th century fortress which is so cool, loads of stages including some crazy small stages which are well worth checking out. The most expensive beer I found was the equivalent of about £1.30, a mixed grill at a restaurant in town will cost you about a fiver. Serbian people are very friendly and a good laugh (and the women are hot). Door to door, the week cost less than £500 in total. I can't say enough good things about it and can't wait to go back sometime. Maybe next year.
  8. Are we planning on challenging Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea etc for the title next season then? Aim high I suppose....
  9. September is definitely the time to go. We've been in June, August and September and the closing parties were stupidly good. Didn't make it last year so I'm keen to check out Sankeys, and I've never been to Ibiza Rocks. Probably a good chance to this year as Wednesdays have nothing much on. (Erick Morillo usually, but done that night twice now). Arrive Saturday, West End. Sunday - Space Monday - DC10, although Cocoon @ Amnesia would be good Tuesday - Carl Cox & Friends. Wednesday - Ibiza Rocks or Sankeys Thursday - Cream @ Amnesia. I don't mind a bit of trance and Cream is always a top night. Saw Deadmau5, Ferry Corsten, John O'Callaghan and Michael Woods there last time and it was ace. Friday - Heard that Sankeys will be getting some good nights on Fridays. Pete Tong also had good lineups last year in Eden but his night will be in Pacha this year I think. Big improvement. Saturday - back to reality

    Palace tickets

It's not the last 1000 going on sale. We've got up to 5800, this batch will take us up to 4100. And there's already a thread on this.
  11. Home game? Check. 3pm? Check. Key players fit? Check. In good form? Check. It all points to a home win. Nervous? Always. I'm hoping we go for the throat, get an early goal and make it a fairly comfortable afternoon. ------------Davis---------- Frazer--Jose----Jos-----Fox SDR---Cork--Morgan-Lallana ---Lambert-----Lee--------- Subs - Martin, Deano, Chappers, Guly, Sharp Southampton 4-1 Doncaster Lee (2), Lambert, Hooiveld.
  12. Wasn't this fixture announced about 8 months ago? You should have had plenty of time to save up for a ticket.
  13. Wasn't Michael Carroll that c*nt who won the lottery while in jail, then spunked his £9m on fags, beer and cocaine and ended up on benefits?
  14. I think a sensible payment scheme would massively help ST sales as well.
  15. It's possible. We sold 3k for Brighton in a day
  16. Tickets on sale today. We've got 7 going so far
  17. I'm confident. We're winning when not at our best, sometimes even winning comfortably. The players have belief and give everything. Watching our 2 centre halves bursting into the box and creating a goal away at a top 6 side will tell you that. I think this weekend Nigel will show Big Fat Sam how to set up a team to be positive and win a game in a 'should win' game. Usually that involves more than 1 striker, and getting the ball to attacking midfielders and creative players. (Side thought - have they got any?) And we'll get behind the lads as we always do and show the West Ham fans how to support a football team instead of booing every misplaced pass. I can't wait. Saturday + home + 3pm + plenty of beer = home win. I believe!
  18. WHU taking both strikers off, west ham fans sound a bit bemused. Sh*t footballing side
  19. Whu score. "outrageous fluke" say the 'taters
  20. Boos have been ringing around Upton Park, playing sh*t. Come on the Boro!
  21. Standard start at west ham. Boro press, win corner, finally gathered by Rob Green who kicks it out, 2 bounces straight to the Boro keeper. Hoof!!
  22. Looks like I'm listening to 5live extra West Ham vs Boro. Can't do much else on my iPhone.
  23. I'm working nights in Exmouth so will have to endure the pain of listening to 5live's sloppy and late reporting on games, as they also try to commentate on the featured game, which I'm guessing will be WHU vs Boro. Not ideal but it'll pass some at work.
  24. This. And Southamptonboro
  25. 7.45pm: Brighton vs Derby Bristol City vs Watford Doncaster vs Millwall Hull vs Southampton Leeds vs Forest P'Boro vs Reading Portsmouth vs Birmingham West Ham vs Middlesbrough 8pm: Crystal Palace vs Barnsley
