I disagree. I feel that JR is solely showing promise, no more no less. If Lambert got injured for the rest of the season we would be in big trouble IMO. While JR closes down a lot he gives the ball away more often than he retains it, although Lambert is far less mobile he at least retains possession or creates an opportunity.

The only aspect that doesnt fill me with confidence is the over emphasis on blooding the young players through the first team. If they're good enough a la Shaw then great but I'm pretty sure others aren't yet at that level, therefore are we going to make signings or wait until young players are good enough which could hinder short term progress.
