Absolutely cracking performance and result. Special mentions have to go to the back 5, in particular Boruc and Lovren (signing of the season for overall influence). I think people are being overly critical on Wanyama, he was much better today and will need some time to adjust. If people insist on criticising anyone I would say a more likely target should be JayRod, our weakest link yet again. The biggest thing I took from the game was how much more mobile and attacking we became once Lambert was replaced by Davis. I think Lambo could do with being taken out of the limelight a little bit as he looks to be carrying the world on his shoulders, would like to see Davis of Gaston replace him for the next game.

He will be different class once he settles. Such an intelligent player and his movement was the reason we started getting more opportunities in the second half. I think it's more a case of a grasp on the realities of the transfer market by fans that you should be questioning.

The players have only been back around the training ground for a couple of days. Wouldn't have expected them to see anything suggestive within that time.
