This guy is world class, the fee being mooted sounds way too low to me.
-
I can see Jose leaving us this window, I don't think we will sign another though. MP seems to rate Jos so will settle on Lovren, Yoshida, Forren and Hooiveld IMO.
-
He gives more away in interviews than Nige. I don't really see a problem.
-
Excellent answers.
-
Agreed. Davis is far more effective than Ramirez in that role away from home.
-
We'll win 3-2.
-
Agreed, although I think having another natural left footed player to cover at LB would be preferable.

Why is there a thread every week discussing what Lawro says?? His opinion has no baring at all on the result.
-
Why are people so bothered about what some Ian Rush / John Aldridge look alike pundit says about us. What he says doesn't determine our results.

I actually think it makes more sense than not to sack him. They were in complete and utter free fall with no sign of halting it...as it stands they're heading for the relegation trap door. They have no choice but to gamble on the new manager factor and hope a change of approach gives them an immediate boost.

Saints make 8 million bid for Athletico's Adrian Lopez

Don't know anything about him but for that fee I would much rather we sign Van Wolfswinkel who is a top player. -
'The Three' - who should play there in our 4-2-3-1?
saint_ed replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Definitely this. -
'Entertainment' - are you enjoying watching us more under Pochettino?
saint_ed replied to 110_Persaint's topic in The Saints
Bizarrely I actually agree in some ways with the OP....not on entertainment as quick frankly I couldn't give a toss if we were boring but got results, what I am concerned about however is that we have significantly lost our 'spark' and are hiding behind the number of shots we have on goal. Of the 15 odd we supposedly had on goal at Norwich I can only recollect maybe 2 or 3 that I would consider as genuine scoring opportunities. I really don't think we are playing THAT well to be comfortable that results will come as we keep being told. On top of our new found lack of attacking threat we now also look more vulnerable at the back and seem to have lost our balance. I'm still open minded about MoPo as there will be a natural evolution period but at this moment in time I am far more concerned than I was at the end of the draw at Stamford Bridge. -
I'd go with this. I think Davis can feel hard done by having been dropped of late, he's shown more consistency than Ramirez IMO

We will beat Liverpool.

Saints risk losing Puncheon - West Ham and Newcastle United circle
saint_ed replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It's simple. Punch has stated to the club that he does not want to play in the Champioship. Naturally both parties want to see if we will stay up this year as the last thing we want is to have a player sulking again. Likewise Punch is in the strongest position of his career to demand Premiership football. I also believe that deep down Cortese still thinks we could do better and hasn't forgotten the previous spat that went on. -
Nail on the head

Has someone spiked my drink. Nothing is making any sense.

I agree. Also after Tiss complained about having to wait 4 weeks when it was confirmed, I'm not at all surprised its ended up like this. Getting pathetic now.

Sorry, should have included a wink. I was joking.
