  1. There were plenty predicting we'd be bottom now. And on previous firm, we'd probably have list to Arsenal and Everton and be three points from safety rather than safe by three. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. I noticed that too. Time up? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. This. Fantastic team spirit and determination to get the job done. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. I'd give it to Bednarek, though agree Redmond and Vestergaard were good, as was JWP and many others. Great team performance. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. Oh dear Claude. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. We need to expect to win these games. Just so used to failure. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  8. Fair enough. I think he'd be ok with Bednarek. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. I think he's too inclined to believe the hype of his worshipping fans. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. You obviously haven't seen him recently. Been solid. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. I'd love to see Ralph work his magic with Boufal, but pretty sure it's impossible. I think the problem is (as with Hoedt) that egos and Ralph don't mix. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. But Boufal or Redmond? Or Armstrong? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. My Thai girlfriend assured me that a small penis should never be an issue in a loving relationship ... I still wish she didn't have one though... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. Was at the game and have only just watched the TV recording. Agreed the disallowed VAR goal was very close, but can't understand why our penalty claim near the end of ET wasn't given. Slattery's foot was clearly kicked as he prepared to shoot. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. This. I really struggle with some of our gullible "fans" who buy into the hype of "winning the spending". In January, you overpay. We've already got a squad that's too expensive and too big. If we move another 2-3 out and identify the right player who fits our profile, maybe one in, but I doubt it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. Shooting - no Tackling - certainly not Ball retention - you are joking? Ability to manoeuve - probably yes Strength - little in it Accuracy of passing - no Awareness - no Commitment - very questions Improvement under Hasenhüttl - no Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  17. On last night's performance, JWP deserves the place. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. In the cold light of day, I'm annoyed that we lost as we were the better team, which was quite an achievement with so many players out. I disagree with comments above: we pressed far better than them in the first half hour and made chances. Shane should have put his chance away, but it was a good save and we were very unlucky the rebound didn't fall to any of the three Saints in front of goal. But the pressing faded and we let them have too much time on the ball. Once we scored the second (cool by Redmond) I thought we'd close the game down, maybe bringing Bednarek on, but they got one back too quickly. Some around me thought it was a soft free kick, but they got plenty of them. The setup to defend it was obviously wrong but it happens that shots like that go through. I was more annoyed about the second. No real pressure on the cross and the CBs need to do better. Overall JWP, Armstrong and Romeu good. Redmond dangerous except from 12 yards although it he'd squared the ball instead of blasting it at the keeper in ET, we'd gave won. With more composure Long would gave had two. Except for the second goal, CBs ok but much stronger with Bednarek. And the youngsters all acquitted themselves well. For me, Johnson the best. I don't like jumping on the criticism of any Saints player, but Elyounoussi really was poor and looked lost. Too slow and hesitant, poor pass selection and execution. One or two better moments, but unless he finds speed, confidence and skill from somewhere, I can't see him in plans. On to Everton, which is more important. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. BTW, well done my local team - Shrews! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. It's the rest time before Saturday that's more relevant. I think it'll be a fairly strong team, with key players either on the bench or pulled quite early. Gunn Cedric Vestergaard Stephens Bertrand/Targett Romeu Slattery JWP Armstrong Long Gallagher Bench including McCarthy, Ings, Bednarek, youngsters Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  21. Harrison Reed having a decent game for Blackburn but now off injured. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  22. I would hope the answer is an emphatic No. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  23. Didn't someone say Sims is Cup-tied? Or, because he was on loan when the first time was played, can't play in the replay? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  24. Yes Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  25. Quick evaluation. Great day out. Brilliant pubs in Leicester. Fantastic team performance, showing the impact Hasenhüttl has had on the players. I couldn't criticise a single player. They fought brilliantly in a way Saints teams haven't for the last two years. That is all. Beer to enjoy. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
