Totally agree. He was great today. Think he's close to making the 10 spot his, and rightly so. A very intelligent and effective footballer. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Agree totally with Wes Tender. Awesome performance. My nerves were shredded second half, yet strangely, I was confident we would hang on. It was the collective determination of the whole team that got the result. And that has been instilled by Ralph. Brilliant. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Agreed. He played well. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Blue Boar (micro, good), Sir Robert Peel, Kings Head. And several more: these are real ale to my taste. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

And where are Newcastle now? A whole two points above us. I really find it hard to believe that do many are taken in with the idea that there's a prize for spending the most and that spending guarantees success. Ridiculous. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

A shame he's Cup-tied. Could have helped them deal with P*mpey. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I trust tickets will be dirt cheap. Could be lazy and watch on TV but someone's got to be the crowd. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Cue the league or Cup debate all over again. We've got Everton only three days after the replay, which might go to extra time, so I doubt it'll be that strong a team. But Derby have the same situation. I'd guess a weakish team with a strong bench if needed. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Not sure about this thread title. It conjures up the words eggs, chickens, Derby and replay, which all spring to mind, in no particular order. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Assume Monday isn't possible as we have a game on Weds. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

But total capacity is only 5000 so doubt they need to give us that many. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I don't get the feeling Reading could get the best out of anyone at present. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

The 2600 was a few days ago, so may have been more. Didn't seem to be many empty seats maybe a few bought tickets for their purchase record in case we get to the semis or final, but didn't go. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Think I saw it was about 2600. Decent. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

My quick summary, for what it's worth. Great day out. Cracking beer, good craic with Derby fans. For future reference, the £2.50 return bus from The Tap to the ground is brilliant. Game ultimately disappointing, losing the lead mainly through the softest of soft underbellies of a midfield. We cannot cope with Romeu, Hojbjerg and Lemina all missing. Vestergaard and Stephens largely ok, except Verstergaard's pass straight into touch leading to the first goal and weak closing down for the second. They were both utterly wrong-footed by the flicked lob pass for the first, but I'll give Derby credit for that. Think the importance of Bednarek was underlined. And we'll miss Maya. Targett not really at the races, and I'm not sure that, defensively, Cedric is better than Valery. Slattery ok debut, JWP decent game, but the two together too lightweight. Not much impact from the other youngsters: give them time. Redmond gets better and better. Hard to believe, but Austin and Elyounoussi get worse. How Elyounoussi managed to put that late header straight at the keeper, I'll never know. Long not much better, but I think there's a chance that even he'd have put that away. And he's at least got a bit of pace. It must have told Hasenhüttl a few things snd it'll let us get Hojbjerg's suspension out of the way before Everton, so not all bad. We're in the draw. Please give us a crap draw. I can't do the next round so bet it's the Skates or an interesting away. Don't know who the gentleman was who was next to me in the crowd (Block 50 K507?) But thanks for the most intelligent and interesting I -game chat I've had in ages. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Was at the game. Really thought when we got the second we would see it out comfortably, but one awful pass from Vestergaard and it felt like the insecurity of past was back. After that we had no composure. JWP, Redmond ok. A lot of mediocrity in the rest. Austin did nothing. Long didn't run, and doesn't do anything else. Vestergaard needs Bednarek. Targett is out of sorts. Thought Stephens was mostly ok. Slattery decent, with promise. Gunn ok. Not a lot of enthusiasm about the youngsters, but give them time Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Derby v Saints (FA Cup - 3rd Round) Build Up and match thread

I've just started a mini solo crawl. Currently in the Old Bell, then the Tap, then Exeter Arms, maybe Smithfield. All old-school real ale and recommended. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
