Not against that idea Hamster, but, let's face it, moving it to the off-topic area does not make it any less accessible to anyone, does it?

Because it's not Saints related, whichever way you slice it.

Longer is always more popular, surely?
  4. Would you prefer cave paintings?

But it's a bit like playing darts across the dining table, or eating at the oche, whichever way your analogy is working

Erm, what difference does it make (with respect to posting/reading it) that it's here?
  7. That's only 100yds from Yates's!
  8. Well, perhaps she wanted to eat it afterwards.
  9. Ladysaint, with all due respect, there are enough solicitors offering 30 mins free professional legal advice, not to mention the C.A.B., that asking the motley rabble on here would not be my first recommended action. Get the Yellow Pages out.

I'm not claiming it's a tragedy. Just be aware that we're also at one man's whim now....
  11. Hmmm...
  12. I'm not criticising, but man is that ironic!

I don't remember many (any?) of our resident skates praying for our demise tbh.
  14. A correction worth using a post on.
  15. Some of us did both.
  16. And more experienced than the cast from "Mammoth Mammaries 7".

    How quickly we forget.
  18. Good point about the lack of sponsorship events. Perhaps they could invigilate the next Forum match at SMS.
  19. You shouldn't use a possessive apostrophe with "It", Pancake. "It's" is only used as the contracted version of "It is".
  20. It's not quite up there with Piquet's rant about Briatore.

    Risks

I've had both really. I went self-employed after I left Uni and that didn't work at all. I survived, and came out the other side debt-free, but it was touch and go and it was really only the fact that a friend knew of a job going at exactly the right time that I survived. I also took a massive punt, quitting that job to move 250 miles away to a specialised engineering job that I essentially knew nothing about, apart from what I'd read at Uni. That went really well and 5 years later I'm in F1. That could turn out to be a huge gamble in its own right, with the massive cost cutting hitting the sport, but that was entirely unpredictable 3 years ago when I started. Sometimes the gamble works, sometimes it doesn't, but you should never regret attempting something and failing. Regret the stuff you never attempt instead.
  22. He was. It must've been like getting sniped on eBay if he was watching at home.
  23. I would if it's raining.
  24. Yep, credit for kicking this off goes to Mr. Wotte.
