Well, I'm sold.

If it's less than 6 years old the retailer has an obligation to address the problem, regardless of the manufacturer's warranty. Get onto them and threaten court action under the Sale of Goods act, as it's clearly not lasted for a satisfactory amount of time.

Posts and threads like this are out of order, and contravene the forum rules. If you have a problem with another poster please use the Report to Moderator function, don't start threads which could be construed as confrontational or antagonistic. Thanks.

Jo Tessem on Trial next week (He's not really)(Actually he might be)

Yep, makes sense. -
That was man, actually, and I'm the biggest "Man made Climate Change" denier you'll meet (after St George). Primitive man discovered that hunting Woolly Mammoths was easier if, instead of spearing them, they drove the herds towards cliffs and ravines. The whole herd would fall to their deaths and the hunters would scavenge what they needed from the corpses. Obviously they killed far more than they needed, or could use, and the species was wiped out quite quickly.

6 posts in the last 24 hours Stu. You need to curb that habit.

Who'd want that anyway? I don't see anything that assures me that BT could successfully run anything, except "up a huge bill".

"You must be f**king mental"

I daren't do that, Stu. You started this thread but Registered Users can't start threads. That paradox could cause the end of the universe... or is that what you really want?

I don't think you actually disagreed with me there, tbh. As for controlling the posters, well, it'd be a pretty lean userbase if we banned everyone who got upset that another set of tyrekickers have raised then dashed our hopes. I think we (the fans) have every right to be upset. IMHO, naturally.

I'd take that post with a huge pinch of salt, GitR.

Yeah, I would. I wouldn't want to open a Q&A session, because that would be a true exercise of pis*ing in the wind, but I would post up the facts as I knew them to be and the reason for the U-turn. He's been happy to use the forum as both a PR tool and a voice to the fans (and he's been more than welcome to, IMO) but some people would appreciate a bit of closure on the whole event.

TL's silence says it all, IMO.

£99,001 seems a strange valuation.

I ran Michelin Pilot Sport IIs on my R26 for 20,000 miles and they were brilliant grip-wise but were really noisy on the road. I'm testing some Nexen N6000s on there now. They were supposed to be a stop-gap but they actually perform as well, wet or dry, and are far, far quieter. They do seem to be wearing more rapidly than the Michelins though. I can't imagine they'll see 20,000 miles, more like 10,0000 max.

Ghost Town with the missus last night. I liked it, and that says a lot for what is essentially a RomCom. Gervais plays a miserable bloke from Reading to perfection. Year One with my daughter this afternoon. Some good laughs but don't expect anything too thought-provoking.

Being fair to me, I've always said they should fight the injustice of removing the right to appeal and would've supported them all the way.
