  1. Ps. Would you swap them for a signed F1 poster? With COA.
  2. Rubbish. Shall I donate my house to the club too?
  3. Best could be Widdrington to take over as Saints boss in the summer.
  4. It would be a pleasure for me if you were able to.
  5. As well as "Race Director" he is also the liaison with the FIA on legality issues, so he's exactly the right person to speak to.
  6. You need to watch the Vietnam special to understand his appreciation of 2 wheeled donor carriers.
  7. Oh do give it a rest, you're very boring.
  8. Brilliant that. I certainly did hear it in his voice.
  9. There was definitely an element of that in it but there's no doubt that by the letter of the law our design was as "illegal" as that of the Brawn. To keep the top deck of the diffuser seperate from the bottom deck (a necessity for legality) there is a slot running along the floor. The rule states that you mustn't be able to see any bodywork through any voids in the floor, when viewed from below, and you clearly can. Apparently the loophole is that a slot doesn't count as a hole. Watch now as loads of cars start to feature louvred ground effects devices under the cars, the aero grip increases exponentially and the laptimes plummet - until the FIA declares it all illegal again.

  11. Are you jumping on the Widdrington bandwagon too?
  12. It's not actually a 'bolt-on' fix tbh, but it could be up to half a second a lap.
  13. Yeah, something we abandoned thanks to Charlie Whiting assuring us it would be illegal, which was then used by the "Double diffuser gang" to exploit the loophole. We should have one ready soon.
  14. Yup, we also clarified our new design as legal so check out Alonso's car in FP3 on Saturday. Bit of a stitch-up though, that ruling, bodywork is clearly visible through the slot in the floor of the Brawn so basically a rule that the FIA brought in 15 years ago to shaft Williams has just been overturned on a whim. Ah well, that's Formula Max for you.
  15. That's Paul McCartney.
  16. When he started riding a bike to the stadium.
  17. I'll sort it for him Martini. I think he's a bit peeved at the sh** stirring and lies.
  18. Was it a ghost which stole the "e" from the end of "hypocrite" and deposited it in the middle of "gremlins"? Seriously, Ari', I agree that a lot of things have been left unexplained, but that doesn't mean that the only explanation is therefore ethereal spirits.
  19. I forgot to say; Welcome to the board.
  20. That seems fair. We agree then?
  21. I'm not very often highly opinionated on the sort of thing that requires an open-mind, but I do believe that the onus of proof is firmly on the believer in this instance. It's not the same as 'faith', I never berate religious people - despite being a firm athiest - nor do I take the p**s or mock them, but ghosts aren't about 'faith' per sé. This is more akin to believing in Goblins, Orcs, Fairies, Genies, talking trees, Dragons, Elves and Pixies... All in my humble opinion of course.

    First car

First car I owned was a Vauxhall Chevette, the first car I drove legally was an Austin Allegro, but the first car I bought myself and drove legally was a 1973 Ford Capri XL Mk1 Facelift. I wish I still had it now.
  23. Ouch, a hattrick.
