  1. Getting put out of business over one quarter of a percent of an overdraft is pathetic. I do blame Barclays as much as anyone else in this fiasco.
  2. Long driveway - big dogs.
  3. If there were a string of suitors rebuffed by Lowe, or who couldn't work with Lowe, where the **** are they now he's gone? Lot of smelly stuff around IMO.
  4. A deal which expires after the Malaysian GP this weekend. He lives in Kidlington, a few miles outside Oxford, so this has some legs.
  5. Yeah, I forgot that bit. I also assume we'll be safe by 11 points anyway
  6. Ah right... Cheers.
  7. Ah right... So what's the point of the cut off date then?
  8. I think he was being ironic.
  9. Surely, even if the FA decide we're to get a points deduction it'll happen next season now, as we missed the cut off date for this season last week. It's not the penalty that worries me, it's finding a buyer within 3 weeks.
  10. It actually means we're 'open to offers', not that there are any bids.
  11. Now that's the truth.
  12. Does Mick Channon know the Aga Khan very well?
  13. I know people said he could save it - I have wavered between the positive and negative myself, many times - but did anyone say that he was the only person who could?
  14. Saints FC.
  15. Did anyone really think that only Lowe could save SFC? I doubt it very much.
  16. It's pretty standard procedure.
  17. No, the appeal hearing is on the 14th mate. I can't say much about it but the protest is completely right IMO and the appeal is more about clarification than getting anyone disqualified. There have been some major contradictions between the FIA and the Stewards over this diffuser, going back to last year.
  18. Yes, absolutely. They'd actually bring more ticket money in at the moment anyway.
  19. You'd feel a little hard done by if your house was repossessed because you went a quarter of a percent over your overdraft though.
  20. FWIW, I'd hate the concept, but I'd have to assume that he was confident of the club being successful. After all, success is the only way a private investor could hope to see a return on his investment. I'm sure whoever buys it (fingers crossed) won't be spunking his cash on a hobby.
  21. Which is what I'm led to believe is happening. Only the financial director of the club/SLH remains in place to assist the administrators.
  22. They reduced the od by 30%, and one assumes they were meeting the mortgage payments, so it would appear not. It would seem that they weren't reducing the debt quickly enough, however.
  23. No. Please re-read the post.
  24. SFC is an asset of SLH and has to be sold with all the other assets in order to foot the £4million bill.
