Monaco is effing pointless as a race and it seems contradictory to keep it on the calendar in this climate of cost-cutting when it costs around a third of a million to keep the race mechanics in hotels near to the circuit, just because of the inflated prices and the fact they have to spend an extra day there because of the stupid Thursday test day.

Probably snapped the cable or a small plastic fitting on the regulator. Will most likely require a whole unit and new prices will be horrific. Fortunately there are shedloads of Golfs around so get yourself down Silverlake and grab a second-hand one. Removal and refitting is usually pretty straightforward if you have a modicum of nous and can manhandle a screwdriver and small socket set. Getting the door panel off will probably be the biggest challenge. To get you out of the poo, take the door panel off, lift the window manually and wedge it into position from underneath with something suitable.

Those front wing pylons are horrific though. There are elements of all of them which would make a nice car though. Ferrari nose, McLaren front wing, Toyota keel and bargeboard area, our sidepods, Williams engine cover and McLaren rear wing. All painted in the Williams livery.
