  1. He'll settle out of court. He always does.
  2. By a woman!
  3. Don't drink-drive.
  4. Are you saying we were actually properly trying against Coventry? I'd have been relieved to find out we'd thrown the match tbh.
  5. Please don't forget that, especially in the UK, hastily enforced budget caps will finish the careers of many people. The engine freeze put thousands of people out of work alone. I don't see why a cap is necessary anyway. You might gain some smaller teams but you'll lose the big names who feel the sport has become diluted. It's all swings and roundabouts IMO.
  6. This is the first pic that I'd accept it if anyone said they'd knock back any one of them and no one has.
  7. The new Russian circuit is underway but the claim is that it won't be tendering a bid to stage a Grand Prix. Time will tell I guess.
  8. I've no idea mate. It's a sad state of affairs but the wider picture actually shows some growth in lower formula racing. Witness the advent of the Superleague racing and forthcoming Formula 2 racing. It's not all doom and gloom.
  9. This made me
  10. They might, as a goodwill gesture, to a single opportunistic customer. They can also be fined £2000 per item for incorrectly marked goods. However, the very fact that news of this sort of mistake spreads like wildfire on the 'net and can cost a company hundreds of thousands, all over a typo or mis-inputted figure, is why the rules are different.
  11. I don't think F1 can be blamed for problems in BTCC. If anything sky-high F1 prices are pushing spectators towards alternative series.
  12. Using Paul Ricard would mean Bernie paying himself to stage a GP as he's the owner, so I can't see that happening. Magny Cours is, sorry was, the worst circuit on the calendar, but I don't think Renault are going to like losing their home GP. We'll have to see how this pans out but I predict the British GP will be the next to disappear, there's no way Donny will be GP ready in 18 months, they still have no planning permission! Bernie is happy to move the GPs to the Asian and Sub-Asian continent. That's where the money is at the moment. Bring on India and Russia.
  13. Wiltshire Saint is going to be devastated.
  14. Well, which is it?
  15. Perhaps they didn't expect it at this stage of the season, true, but it's unfair to write the Renault team off. Two double world championships, in the Schumacher era, aren't luck.
  16. In Fuji? Misfortunes or sh!t driving? It's all about taking advantage of others' mistakes mate, else they'd all finish in the same place they start every week.
  17. You'd cast them in a sh!tty film?
  18. As the only non-Ferrari team to win WDC and WCC this millennium, a few people I should imagine.
  19. He probably knew there'd be plenty of spares available.
  20. I think it needed saying because not everyone has a thieving mentality.
  21. 5, I was solid on about 3.
  22. Valencia aside, this season has been anything but "the usual dross".
  23. No obligation to honour the incorrect price chaps. There was a precedent set a few years ago when Argos (I believe) made a similar faux pas.
  24. Also, all bets are off if it rains, which is 60% likely, in China. Lewis has proved both very good and very suspect in the rain, whereas Massa has just been suspect. Anything could happen.
  25. Christ, could you imagine the outcry? The odds for the races are slightly stacked in the favour of the Ferrari; their car works very well at both tracks and Massa will have a new engine for Brasil when he won't have to be concerned about making it last two races. Lewis has a new one for China but, of course, he has to take it to Brasil as well. That said, I still think Lewis has enough of a points advantage to come out on top IF he can keep his head! He also needs Heikki to step up at the forthcoming races. In a car that's leading the WDC he's only managed 3 points more than Fernando and one race win less. The more cynical might propose the theory that he's being hobbled in favour of Lewis as he's not Ron's golden child but I think he's just been poor, relatively speaking.
