  1. I don't get your point. The fact that any one country can veto the deal makes any chance of us getting a half decent deal near impossible IMO. There is bound to be at least one country who take a hardline position. Your idea that these governments will want us to have a good deal in case they decide to leave at some point in the future is complete nonsense. They will all currently be pro EU governments, if their electorate turns anti EU they will be out of a job anyway.
  2. Yep, understand that. Like I said - our MPs didn't want to leave the EU either, and still don't. But if we make a success of Brexit and other populations round Europe decide to leave there is nothing any MPs can do about it.
  3. I understand that OK, it's you that seem too fail to understand that what the EU MPs want is a completely different to what their countries may decide they want. Our MPs didn't want to leave the EU either.
  4. Then why are you dodging the question, you usually have an idea? It is obvious that if we make a success of our Brexit then it may spell trouble for them if other countries follow suit. Why can you not just admit the obvious?
  5. I take it by that you mean they don't want our Brexit to be a success?
  6. I think it is a fair assumption that they and us are more likely to pick up points against the lesser teams - yes.
  7. yes but as it stands we have had an easy start so are in a false position. Just looking at the bottom three, Palace have already played Liverpool, City, Man Utd & Chelsea. Bournemouth have already played City, Arsenal and Spurs. Leicester have already played Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. We've had one 'hard' game - Man Utd.
  8. Just like last time we were relegated, I remember the apathy whilst Wigley threw away countless points at home against the lesser sides. We're sat 10th but our true position is much lower.
  9. Do you genuinely believe that Junker and co want Britain to be a success after Brexit?
  10. Our current league position is meaningless, we've had the easiest run of fixtures I can remember - we still have to play Man City, Liverpool , Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal twice. Make no mistake, we are in a relegation scrap.
  11. The problem is nowadays people tend to confuse success/ambition with the amount of money they can grab for themselves.
  12. Time to stop being so soft and tap-up a manager from a smaller fish. Everyone else does it, I don't see why we should be the only club who gets their manager from the local job centre.
  13. A very good achievement considering we were under different financial constraints back then.
  14. Think that's the main problem. There is only so many times you can stomach seeing a star player turn his back on the club before you get to the point where you realise they are all putting on a big pretence. What is the point in cheering on a player when you know deep down if he gets to a certain standard he's just gonna do all he can to get a move to a team you despise. Shaw, Lovren, Lallana, Scheiderlin, Wanyama, Clyne, Mane, Pochetino, Koeman. What's the point in getting excited about anyone. In Virgil Van Dyke we actually have a player who most the fans don't just dislike but actually hate - I can't remember ever having that before.
  15. Do you genuinely believe that Junker and co want Britain to be a success after Brexit? If we do OK outside the EU it won't be long before others follow - that is their worst nightmare.
  16. Pull yourself together you pussy, you're not even old yet.
  17. Football fans in being fickle shocker.
  18. The results are still concerning even if it only includes Muslims from inner city areas IMO. 52% think being gay should be illegal - **** me how can any of you defend that?
  19. Think most areas that voted Brexit were Labour ones so you might as well stop that pathetic red v blue ******. Both those parties had a 'press on with Brexit regardless of the effects' policy at the last election and they hoovered up over 84% of the vote.
  20. Can we change the title of the thread please, should be Post EU - The moaning c*nts.
  21. Fantastic, that's Liverpool's season ****ed then.
  22. I used to think that but I got quite into it whilst I was over the states. On the face of it 3-4hrs with all the stop-start and ads is boring as ****, but it is perfectly suited for watching in a bar.
  23. Would be a great move for him and us IMO. Doubt he would want to come here or our club would show the ambition if he did.
  24. I understand the logic of the voting and how our system works, it's not rocket science. Our electoral system is out-dated and defunct. I was questioning the logic of people moaning when a government they voted for does what was in their manefesto. Remoaners bang on about Brexit as if it will be the end of the World and in the election all the parties offering an opportunity to stop it saw their vote share go down. Seems to me you should save your girly whining for the state of our electoral system not what might happen when we leave the EU.
  25. Multi faceted but according to mongs like Sherlock Brexit is a fate worse than death. Still if it's red or blue it gets a vote from the brain dead.
