  1. I know for a fact he did. On a freelance basis for many years.
  2. Well that's our best chance of a trophy gone - ****ing useless ****s
  3. Kevin Palmer used to work for the club, not sure if he still does but I expect he still has good contacts.
  4. Great news. I'm guessing this opens the door for Dykes exit.
  5. What a load of nonsense, the board have done the right thing standing firm. If we end up selling before the window then do be it but we have shown we are no push-overs.
  6. Ridiculous, who cares if one word is spelt wrong? People who get picky over spelling is a pet hate of mine. ****ing idiots.
  7. No reason why we should accept a penny below our valuation, we don't need to sell. If VVD is still here when the window shuts he will have no option but to get on with his job.
  8. I would put out the strongest team possible, this is our best chance of a trophy and the players should all be pretty fresh.
  9. **** me, for £70mill you would expect the **** to be fit.
  10. I didn't like the way he left with the cup final on the horizon - we may actually have some silverware now had he shown some loyalty. It's always fine to boo opposition players in my opinion - it's all part of the pantomime.
  11. I would never feel sorry for a millionaire who gets paid ridiculous amounts for kicking a ball around a field.
  12. Smart move, saves having to spend the night in that dump of a town.
  13. Of course it was terrorism. His white supremacy beliefs were a direct cause to what happened, just like when Islamic extremists do the same thing Islam is a direct cause.
  14. No reason why he can't play.
  15. Agree, but I can't see where there is much to be made. Whilst we have made good money on player trading it is a bit of a lottery. Merchandise - not much scope there, tickets - pretty near the ceiling there. Footballing wise - not much further we can go without massive investment. My Only guess is that if Lander are in the stadium building business they see potential in addding value that way?
  16. I'm pretty sure you couldn't secure a £210m debt on Saints anyway, if we get relegated we will be worth a fraction of that.
  17. I think we are all prepared to give them a chance but are right to be sceptical given what happened to that shower of ****e down the road and numerous other clubs. I'd like to think that Kat has carefully chosen who she thinks is the best custodian of the club going forward but we all live in the real world and it's naive to think she has done anything else but cash in her chips. It's pointless worrying about it though because there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. For all we know these new owners might have some obscenely rich sugar daddy lined up somewhere in China.
  18. Suspect named as a 20 year old Moroccan. Must not jump to conclusions about possible motive/religion etc tho, that would be prejudiced.
  19. Problem is if the debt gets passed onto the club and we get relegated it's pop time again.
  20. Could this end up like the Glaziers' purchase of Man U when the loan is transferred immediately to the club?
  21. To be fair, I doubt the Guardian is the best paper for a balanced view. for example: "Some of the people trapped around the statue responded with fists and pepper spray, but their actions, and their posture, was entirely defensive from the start. The “alt-right”, on the other hand, came prepared for violence" So the alt right came "prepared for violence" whilst the alt left just brought their own cans of pepper spray. IMO they should have just left the right wing nut jobs alone to have their march and shout their crap. people like the KKK are just clowns, the overwhelming majority in the States will never take them seriously. I don't even get how people in 2017 can seriously think a certain race is superior to everyone else, especially when the people claiming to be superior are all thick, ugly losers with dodgy facial hair.
  22. He won Man of the match on Sunday against Sunderland as well.
  23. Forster Cedric, Yoshida, Van Dyke, Bertrand Romeu, Lemina Tadic, Davis, Redmond Gabbiadini
  24. He'll be alright, he's been training. He's been on the verge of being made the Worlds most expensive defender and playing Champions League football, I doubt he's been sat around the house eating pizza all day.
  25. Great news that he is staying, I would start him Saturday.
