  1. Just sign him. I'm not fussy anymore - I've got to the point where I will be impressed by signing anyone.
  2. Having just read the Independents list of ins and outs I can't see anything other than a relegation struggle for us even if we do bring in a few more players. Most of the teams in our part of the league looked to have added some decent players to their squads, we are still desperately trying to fill holes left. I think West Brom and Swansea might struggle, Burnley will be down there somewhere. I think Leicester and QPR will do OK, I don't think we will be anywhere near the likes of Stoke, Hull and West Ham.
  3. Ha ha, still hasn't scored pre-season for Liverpool. Be funny as **** if he fails miserably there.
  4. I think it's probably more a case of a powerful Jewish lobby in the US. I agree it does appear ****ed up that a country like that can appear to have such a hold over the World's superpower. I used to work for a Jewish owned company in London and I was amazed at how fiercely protective they were of Israel. All said they would happily go back and fight a war on it's behalf without a moment's thought. The company was also totally dedicated to furthering the Jewish cause and we won contracts we shouldn't have got near because of the jewish links. I'm not saying it's typical but it was eye opening. You can't blame a group of people who have traditionally been persecuted for having such a robust protection mechanism. Israel wont lose, everything happening in Gaza would have been planned and it totally under their control IMO. The Israelis have the Palestinians like a dog in a cage. The dog would be perfectly safe out the cage but they need it there so every now and then they provoke it to bite to prove how dangerous it is. The thing the Israelis are most scared of most is a well run democratic Palestine, every few years they have to destroy it to stop that happening.
  5. TBF we rarely have £90mill to blow on new players.
  6. Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction Nirvana - Nevermind Pearl Jam - Ten Oasis - Definitely Maybe Air - Moon Safari
  7. Villa are much bigger than us. And we have Koeman - the manager with mixed record, not Koeman - the great player.
  8. But they all act in a decent and honourable manner until they want to engineer a move. Lovren and Lallana were both respected before they showed their true colours, - same applies to Schneiderlin. Just a bunch of arrogant, spoilt c*nts.
  9. He's obviously going to be class, I think this season will be massive for him. I would put money on him being a full international by this time next year. It's hard to get excited though, we all know what will happen if he does come good. It all seems rather pointless at the moment, maybe we should be hoping he becomes very average.
  10. Makes sense to get a loan if Targett turns out to be decent. Couldn't say what he's like as a player.
  11. It is amazing we have sanctions against Russia and not Israel, it is barbaric what they are doing.
  12. I said fighting for 3rd because now that Suarez is gone I don't think you, Man U or Arsenal have much chance of finishing above Chelsea or Man City. I agree entirely with you opening post apart from the FFP bit. It good to see a fan of one of the big clubs accept that the soul of the game has gone, and it's refreshing that you see it from our point of view when all we get from glory supporters down here is **** taking. It's interesting how fans of clubs like Man U and Liverpool seem to think there is something wrong with what City and Chelsea are doing when they themselves have been outspending other clubs for years though. I don't see any difference in spending money that's from a rich arab than from selling shirts in China.
  13. Doesn't fill me with confidence when the video montage of his greatest goals includes one from 2 yards out against Rwanda. Still, welcome aboard Taider.
  14. Whilst I appreciate what you are trying to say, the FFP rules are only designed to help the traditionally dominant clubs like Liverpool and Man Utd become richer and more successful. At the moment there is a glass ceiling for clubs like Saints because of the CL money but there is always a hope of a rich benefactor that means we could break in. FFP destroys any hope at all for clubs like Saints. Personally I think it is fantastic that Man City and Chelsea consigning Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U to fighting for 3rd spot, this year the gap will grow IMO.
  15. Err, because we've already sold half our team. And being a football team you need at least 11 players to put on the pitch.
  16. He signed the contract he should honour it. If he wants a move ask the club, put in a transfer request and accept their decision. What he tweeted showed him up to be a typical spoilt, arrogant t*sser footballer. He showed no respect for the club and it's fans.
  17. To me that suggests that Cortese was telling them a whole bunch of bullish!t about reaching the Champions League to get them to sign in the first place (as we thought)- which is why we are in this situation now. Players don't give a sh!t who the chairman is, wether it's an Italian dwarf or a Canadian Ice Hockey coach doesn't matter - it's what the club is prepared to spend (ambition in footballer's terms) that is the only important thing.
  18. This, let the c*nt rot in the reserves.
  19. What can the club do about c*nts like this?
  20. We need to stand up to the c*nt or where will it end? We should have stood up to Lambert at the start.
  21. They have every right to do that.
  22. Let the French c*nt rot in the reserves. We can't keep caving into these w@nkers.
  23. Oh good lord no, please someone stop him. We haven't been this much of a laughing stock since the Ted Bates hobbit statue was unveiled, Freddy is just going to make it worse.
  24. 22/1 is worth a punt, we could finish bottom by a mile.
