I disagree. Proportional representation is obviously the fairest method, it just doesn't suit the whole red v blue agenda. I would have voted green in all the past elections if my vote would have actually counted for anything, instead I've had to vote Lib Dem to try and stop the Tory candidate. I think anyone who cycles to work during rush hour has rocks in their head. I tried it for a bit and at the time it wasn't even a long ride, or through busy areas and I almost got wiped out by a van on a roundabout. There are just so many idiot vehicle drivers and rush hour just makes them worse - you are dicing with death cycling through that.

We did Milan - Verona - Venice by train a couple of years back and would definitely recommend it. The train service is very good. The cathedral in Milan is breathtaking, Verona very picturesque and Venice is just amazing. We did go in spring time though, Venice is supposed to get a bit stinky in the summer.
