A yes vote should be good for the shipyards in Portsmouth, they are bound to be given the contracts that were awarded to Glasgow. We can't have a foreign country maintaining our warships.
-
Out-maneuvered by the English again, just like at Falkirk 1298.
-
Exactly. Amazingly these are the judges own words: "The accused had the intention to shoot at the person behind the door, not to kill." I'm not sure you how you are supposed to shoot someone 4 times, with dum dum bullets, from close range, and not intend to kill. You need an imagination of a 12 year old to believe Pistorius' account of what happened. If you hear a noise in the night (and we all have) the first thing anyone does is wake their partner. Rich white boy gets away with murder in South Africa, I'm not sure why I'm even surprised.

Shocking that he has got off. It was so obviously murder. Another victory for money over justice.

Good to see the England fans get behind the Yes campaign as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKuNXIgAxBw

Has to be Venice, the place is magical. I remember the first time I went we arrived at night and took a boat down the grand canal to the hotel and the fog was coming in - no where else in the world like it.

Replacing the blue with a dragon would be cool.
-
Bit odd having the blue for Scotland in a flag for the UK if they are not in it.
-
I don't get why everyone in England cares so much, Scotland is tiny compared to the rest of the UK, what they do makes no difference to me. It will be a shame if the UK breaks up because it has done pretty well if you look at the big picture, and the Union Jack is easily the best flag around so it would be a shame to change it. But I can see where the jocks are coming from, if they disagree that strongly with the muppets in Westminster and have the oil money to fall back on I can't blame them for wanting to go alone - good luck to them.

Amsterdam is a great city, I don't get why they feel the need to pack it with whores and drugs to get visitors.

What specifically does us having nukes influence at the moment? Do we threaten to blow the sh!t out of other countries if they don't do stuff or something?
-
Oh dear, you obviously have a problem understanding my point. What the hell has racism got to do with anything? Islam is not a race you Nob. **** me are you 12 years old or something?
-
It was Jonneyboy who asked for the link you f*ck-wit. My opinions are based on talking to muslim people I know and I never once said the majority had sympathy with extremists, just that a large amount of the people keeping quiet will have sympathy with WHY they do what they do. Learn to f*cking read. If you think that our government killing thousands of muslims overseas wont effect the opinion of those in this country then you are the idiot.
-
Probably the worst England line-up I've ever seen. It wasn't long ago that players like Le Tissier and Ian Wright scored 20 a season and didn't even make the squad.
-
Just an opinion I got through speaking to muslim friends of mine. Where's the link to prove otherwise?
-
Oh come on, the disparity between Tory policies and those of the Scottish people is an obvious reason why independence is popular.
-
Could end up with Scotland in the EU and the rest of the UK out.
-
It's hard not to blame Cameron. In every debate on this I have watched the Scotts seem more interested in getting away from a Tory government than the UK itself.
-
How can I have a link to an opinion?
-
The thing is if I was living in a Muslim country and people like Breivik were repeatedly going round murdering people in the name of my religion I would make sure I renounce him, and wouldn't have a problem with people asking me to. I think you will find a very large amount of muslims in this country who keep their mouths shut sympathise with why muslim extremists do what they do. Few would support their methods but many will support their cause.
-
Sounds plausible but we must remember it is the Daily Mail pinning it on the Polish immigrant.
-
It's just pure greed, what do you think the average person in Scotland thinks when someone from Westminster describes a £67,000 salary (plus expenses and massive perks) as miserly?
-
Surely an MPs motivation should be to make our country a better place, not to stuff as much cash as they can into their bank accounts? Anyway the same statement could apply to the whole of the public sector - are they not limited to 1%?
-
I did want them to vote No but after reading about the latest proposed MP pay rise I will be well chuffed if they get cut ties with the c*nts that currently run our country. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-29098334

Talking Tactics: Koeman gives Saints fans reasons to be cheerful
aintforever replied to pap's topic in The Saints
Probably would have gone more direct at times. Also maybe not press so high up the pitch when 1-0 up against someone like Man Utd.
