I'm not sure how he works this out. I thought the government's plan in Syria was to bomb the sh!t out of Assad which would help ISIS.
-
You just know this will happen, plays well for a whole season for Saints and is ignored, a few times for Arsenal and he is a cert. And people wonder why England are sh!t.
-
I agree we shouldn't have to tread on egg-shells around the issue but the actions of our government put the muslim community (the only people who can sort it out) in a difficult position. The Muslims I know were calling the US the "Great Evil" long before 9/11, you can't blame them for having sympathy for the extremist's cause even if they don't agree with their methods.
-
Good question, to be honest I wouldn't have a clue. The Lee Rigby murder and 7/7 bombings are clearly related to our involvement in the middle east, the perpetrators said so themselves.
-
…and even more so by killing thousands in illegal wars in Muslim countries.
-
Maybe, but starting wars and killing thousands of Muslims with our American pals (or the Great Evil in Muslim words) makes the threat much worse. There will always be muslim extremists, in every country. Its when you create sympathy for their cause amongst the wider muslim community you have a problem.
-
…because we **** around in Middle East affairs and suck up to the US and Israel.
-
What attacks happened in the 90's?
-
Doesn't mean it's a good idea to go around starting wars in Muslim countries.
-
Immigration is not the problem it's our foreign policy. Tony Blair has a lot to answer for. As long as we continue to interfere in the middle east and align ourself so closely to the US/Israel we will always have a threat of Muslim extremists hanging over us.
-
Shouldn't we lock this thread, who gives a sh!t how some Arsenal c*nt is playing.
-
I wouldn't be complaining but would have the same opinion about Sky.
-
The player's agent most definitely would advertise it though.

Good on the club. We don't need the money, and we don't need to pander to a sulking Frenchman. It's worth digging our heels in on this, if only to see how it pans out. If we just accept the fact that bigger clubs can take whoever they want whenever they want we might as well give up now.

This year has not helped. We now know beyond any doubt that the FA Cup is not important to today's footballer because it doesn't make them any money. An 8th place finish is the best we can ever hope for before our team gets raped and pillaged. And the idea that you can nurture young talent to have some sort of loyalty to the club is a pipe dream. I will go on Saturday and cheer the team on but I am starting to despise everything about modern day football, Sky have destroyed our game.

Rickie Lambert... He plays for Liverpool don't you know?
aintforever replied to Noodles34's topic in The Saints
Agree with the OP, made us look like a bunch of star-struck, small town idiots. I don't mind clapping him at the end but to sing the name of a player coming on with the sole purpose of scoring against us is just so sad. Chant the name of our players you f*cktards. -
Whats does the less than 3 thing mean?

I think the Jocks will vote no. The hairy, sweaty braveheart types shout he loudest, and it's cool to hate the English, but I think deep down when it comes to ticking the box most will do the sensible thing and vote no. Breaking up the UK will be alot of pointless hassle and potential instability.
-
"Liverpool's Rickie Lambert questions Southampton's ambition after allowing Mauricio Pochettino to join Tottenham" I can see how he ended up working in a Beetroot factory. How could we stop our manager leaving if he wants to go you thick scouse ***t?

Excellent!

His comments about the board were unnecessary considering him p!ssing off to them northern c*nts has helped put our club in a difficult position. We should get behind the people running our club and forget about players who don't want to be at SFC.
