I did. Mainly because down here it's a case of vote for who you think will keep the tories out. I think UKIP will do well.

I just found out that Thatcher invented Mr Wippy ice cream. I take back everything I have said before, she is a ****ing hero. I can't believe no one mentioned this at her funeral.

It would be interesting to know what percentage of the cash you give goes to the high wages of the people running the charity.

FREE tickets, FREE kids, FREE programmes, FREE pies and crisps. Looks like they are banking on the feel-good factor 'packing the park' and the single ticket sales subsidising all these freebies. Problem is if they get off to a poor start they will just be down to their small hardcore following pretty quickly, their gate receipts will be tiny.

It wont be stripes, even little thin ones.

What an interesting summer we are in for...

If we are serious about progressing I would go for: A top quality centre back, left back, holding mid, striker and wide player. -
I think you can get a good idea of how the PST will fair by their choice of manager. Handing Guy Wittingham the job "because he has blue blood" appears to be just pandering the mong hoards - a recipe for disaster. There appears to be a collective amnesia down there for his record from November to February, the famous LLLLLDDDLLLLLLLLLDDLD. I wonder how many 'LLLLDLL's the new chief exec will have to put up with next season before he has to dump Mr Blue Blood on the dole?

Yeah that's it. I like a bit of an atmosphere at a footie match so I am wild and crazy everyone!
-
Bravo for pointing out a typo. I just prefer a bit of atmosphere. Nowt wrong with that.
-
Feelings mutual. I prefer a bit of atmosphere, maybe you should go and watch cricket or rugby?
-
They are much bigger than what they were, because of investment and success. It's all relative, Man City are not a big club compared to Real Madrid. Reading are big compared to many clubs.
-
Sanchez is right, the atmosphere is Sh!t. The Northam is the only area with any sort of signing, the other 3 stands are just full of dull nobheads, women and kids.
-
To be fair Reading's average attendance was 3,841 20 years ago.

Talk of CL qualification next year is daft. When I read Yoshida banging on about it in the paper I just knew we would lose. I we invest heavily we have a chance of Europa. I would say we need a decent left back as cover for Shaw, a top centre back, decent cover in centre mid and a couple of strikers.

I'm not right all the time. I don't think we will get more than 1 point from those two, but it wouldn't be a complete surprise if we get 4. We have been very erratic under Poch.
-
Well that's screamingly obvious. well done.

I said it was a realistic target, and still is.

I think it's time this thread was put to bed. It's been p!ss funny watching their decline but you can only laugh at those less fortunate for so long. They are scraping about in the arse end of the football league with a joke of a manager, no money and a crumbling old stadium. Lock the thread and start a new one for their next admin when it happens.

It all depends on Wigan, it has been a funny season so I wouldn't be surprised if we end up sh!tting it on the last day again. Can't see us getting anything from Spurs or Sunderland.
-
Will have to see the red cards again but first thoughts was he was terrible, hardly got anything right.

I think Cork would make a good captain.

Yeah, all makes perfect sense now. The FBI and Boston Police commit mass murder on their own people to maybe sway public opinion on some Russian internal dispute that 99.9% of Americans don't give a flying sh!t about. Just to wage another illegal war that no one in america wants in a country with no oil. I could just imagine the Boston Police briefing on the morning of the marathon, "right lads, this is the reason were gonna be blowing up innocent American women and kids..."
-
The wound could have been on the other side so it would be impossible to tell. Or it was just not as bad as pictured, or the picture has been photoshoped. Even if you are right about the pictures, by far the most likely scenario was some wannabe hero copper did him in on the way back to the station. Doesn't indicate a set up at all, especially given the efforts to keep no 2 alive.
-
1. Picture looks inconclusive to me, the bags been blown up, it's bound to look different. 2&3. Again can't tell a huge amount from the pictures I've seen. Guy on the floor has clothes on so any wounds wouldn't necessarily show, the guy in the boat looks in a bad way in the pic where he is being kept alive. Any injuries received after arrest would just point to the police giving them a going over on the way to the station - wouldn't make a conspiracy more or less likely. 4. You would expect an even like this to have security present, it's in America - they have guns. The fact is any conspiracy would have to involve the Boston Police which in my opinion would be totally unbelievable.
-
The fact that suspect number two has been captured alive to be questioned and put on trial in court sort of goes against your theory.
