  1. Yeah but we don't know if Adkins has final say on first team signings or not.
  2. If Reed is responsible for signings he should be sacked not Adkins.
  3. I've never understood why people boo their own players, it is retarded. I also don't understand why people get so wound up by it, especially the sensitive nerdy types you get on here. Footballers are very thick skinned and well paid, a few nobheads booing is not going to make them cry. If people want to boo or express their opinion they have every right to do so. A mate I go with gets wound up and shouts abuse, he thinks that they might put more effort in if they think they will get a hard time if they don't. Not something I agree with.
  4. I'm surprised at this I thought Gazza looked quality. Just have to hope Borat is up to the job.
  5. I was also told by my source that some people were told they were not allowed to buy a box. The club are entitled to sell boxes to whoever they want, they don't need the money. But it seems a bit odd when they do things like sack loyal programme sellers (apparently) just to save a few quid.
  6. I don't think changing the manager will actually achieve anything, we just don't have good enough defenders.
  7. What you described is just the nature of football fans everywhere. There is always a percentage of thickos, you just have to check out this thread to see that. Footballers are professionals, if they reacted to abuse like you and i would in the street there would be Cantona style incidents in every game. It's just futile and plays into the mongs hands.
  8. Yeah, great response. You've won me over now I agree. Having a spat your own fans is both clever and constructive.
  9. Yeah, because it is not ever possible to win fans over. Boy you are stupid.
  10. It's wrong for fans to abuse their own players, of course it is, it's retarded. But if you are a professional footballer it is part of the game, you don't achieve anything with incidents like this. Anyone with half a brain can see how futile it is.
  11. Yeah, because reacting like that is really going to get the fans on his side. You dumb f*ck.
  12. This will be tougher than the Spurs game IMO.
  13. It's clear what happened. Some nobheads had a pop and he reacted. The clever thing to do would be ignore them and concentrate on keeping goal. Especially considering his comical display at West Ham.
  14. If you think a keeper reacting like this is clever then you are dumber than I thought you were, and that is saying something.
  15. It obviously wound up some of our fans though which isn't the cleverest thing to do. Would hardly expect a f*ckwit like you to understand though.
  16. Yeah, because chucking a bottle at your own fans is really going to help. F*cking ***t IMO. Maybe he should wait until he's had at least one good game before he starts giving a bit back.
  17. Better second half but couldn't get much worse, we were awful. Championship here we come.
  18. He was probably trying to throw the bottle back into the net and missed.
  19. Too many idiots on here. Anyone with a slightly differing opinion gets jumped on and abused by the usual gang of playground nob-heads. Internet forums by their nature attract a high percentage of weirdos.
  20. His first season in the top flight when then finished 11th. Adkins has had 8 games, half of them very hard fixtures.
  21. "With roaming sellers also out and about, you’ll never miss a chance to pick up your copy of the programme." - what 12 year-old writes this b@ll@x? How exactly would you miss the original programme sellers who were conveniently stood in the same place each game?
  22. I didn't say he was Pep frigging Guardiola, just responding to Delldays saying he was not GUARENTEED to become a good Prem manager. How can he, no-one can be. Even some good foreign managers fail in the Prem, Guardiola might be sh!t. That's my point, unless he is given the chance we wont find out if he's the next Sir Alex (who also had a poor start in the prem).
  23. Same could be said of Pep Guardiola. Adkins is on a learning curve, he needs to be given a chance. If he's sacked you could see him going somewhere like Ipswich, get them promoted and go on to be a great Prem manager.
  24. This is almost as funny as the Redknapp one. Di Canio, seriously?
