I just hope this action doesn't come back to haunt us. It's not exactly going to be surprising if Gadaffi retaliates with terrorist attacks here in the UK. I don't see how the UN can end this without a full scale invasion, a few air strikes are not going to topple him.

Singing about a Chief Exec is embarrassing. Who next, the marketing manager, groundsman?

Why do the French have it in for Libya?
-
Solid performance, result never in doubt after we made the breakthrough. great stuff.
-
Considering the disproportionate amount we are doing in Afganistan compared to other nations I would say we are well within our rights to sit back, do nothing and watch Libya get sorted out while Germany, France etc bring home their dead.
-
Do we go to war at the drop of a hat because we have the capability, or is it the other way round? I agree with the aim, just don't agree with our boys paying the price when so many other countries, as rich or richer, do **** all. the rest of Europe must be laughing their tits off at us, spending our money, killing our soldliers why they sit back doing nothing. Look at those Bristish fools doing all our work again.
-
They were just random examples, there are 195 other countries on this planet, 194 of those have as much to do with Libya as us.
-
I don't disagree with the idea of the UN sorting Gaddafi out, just hate the way our country is so keen to send our boys to their deaths. Put pressure on Libya, sign the bit of paper that makes it legal, then just shut the **** up and let someone else do something for a change. Isn't it about time Ireland, Spain or Norway sent some of their kids to their bloody deaths, what makes our small skint Island so special?
-
****ing stupid getting involved in another war, doing it when we are skint is mind-numbingly dumb. What is it about the British psyche that makes us think that something happening a thousand miles away is our problem to sort out?

I just can't wait until we're back in the Prem so that we can have world famous, desirable brands like DIMPLEX on our shirts. -

Bahrain, not just another Pro Democracy rebellion?

I don't see why the Shia's of Iran shouldn't help their fellow Shia's in Bahrain - nothing wrong with that at all. Obviously the Iranian form of democracy is not what anyone wants but that doesn't mean the people of Bahrain should not have the CHANCE of a proper democracy. How can it be right to stop them having any hope of democracy just because there is a chance it turns out bad? -
Why is the England kit always so sh!t and boring, it seems to get worse and worse each time they regularly try to re-hash the dull, miserable plain white idea. As for Saints - a modern take on the Keegan kit would be spot on - that is easily the coolest Saints kit there has ever been.

Whilst it should be a fantastic p!ss up I don't think it's the best timing as far as trying to get promoted is concerned. I don't like the idea of playing catch-up right until the final week where the pressure will be immense, especially as it's more than likely Plymouth will still be fighting for their lives - I can't see them being 6 points adrift or clear before that fixture. Having said that, what a day it would be if both us and Plymouth are 3 points clear going into that game and we both needed a draw.

I get what you're saying but the West cannot dictate how the middle east is run just so it suits us. If Iran wants to sell to China at a reduced rate that's up to them, so is their policy on Israel. Maybe we will be worse off at the end of it, hey ho, that's life. Just build some ****ing windmills. -

I hope the Dictatorship are strung up, there is no place for undemocratic countries in the World today. Thanks to the internet and mobile technology it's just a matter of time before dictatorships become a thing of the past. -
The most important thing for Mackaill-Smith now is to not get injured, wether Peterborough get promoted or not makes no difference to his career from now on.

Some of the coverage does seem over-sensationalist, especially Sky News. There's a bit they always do just before the commercial break with a montage of clips with a gloomy music soundtrack followed by "Tsunami, after the break on Sky News". It's like disaster porn. I don't see what harm it does though it can only draw extra attention to the disaster and maybe encourage donations.
