I've done work on the side for a mate who also has a legit company but I havn't informed HRMC because someone told me you have to make over £7000. I obviously have a day job earning more than that so does that mean I'm doing a "pompey"?

Pardew had a much bigger rebuilding job to do than Adkins, and a small problem of -10. I'm not saying one's a better manager than another, just that there were no clear reasons for sacking Pardew and the start of the season was a mess that could cost us promotion.

Wrong, you assume Cortese had reasons to sack Pardew, results were not that bad we only lost one league game and that was a fluke (we totally out-played Plymouth). You seem to assume quite a lot, think that makes you the special one.

Maybe not but that's a completely different scenario to having a manager(with Championship experience) taking us from the bottom of league 1 to promotion, then tearing it all up and starting again when we get in the Championship.

Some on here, The Echo and Radio Solent saw the Pardew thing coming months ahead at the end of the previous season, there had obviously been a falling out. Unless there is similar evidence it's nonsense to suggest Adkins will be fired if he gets promotion. You might as well say "Sir Alex Ferguson to be sacked if he wins the treble".

The thing is not being taken over by SISU meant we went into administration and got relegated. If Coventry hadn't the same would have happened to them. Now SISU are the worst thing in the world because Coventry MIGHT..... go into administration and get relegated. SISU are obviously far from the perfect people to have running any club but to choose administration and all that goes with it is a bit risky - we just got lucky with Marcus.

Cortese would be a fool to sack Adkins if we don't get promotion, it's his d!cking about with managers that lost us so many points at the start of the season. If I were the Leibherrs I would get a new CEO in before manager, Adkins has a proven track record.

I think he has done the opposite, the economy seems set for a double dip thanks to the Tories cuts, the US are not cutting as much and their growth is better. Wether Labour would have actually cut as much or not is irrelevant, I expect them to benefit by jumping on the bandwagon.
