  1. But it's not going to be used as a 25,000 seater, then enlarged, then reduced again - which is what the skates idea is.
  2. 9,000 temporary seats - I would love to see the design for that stadium! Sounds about as feasible as the plans for shifting HMS Warrior and dumping a stadium in the sea.
  3. It is strange how even the Journos can't even find out anything about this guy. Maybe it's just a cultural thing, I get the impression, in Saudi, billionaires don't like to nosh themselves off in public like they do in the West but usually if you are mega rich there is only so low-profile you can be. Money tends to leave a trail. Wouldn't it be fantastic if this turns out to be some chancer!
  4. Is it straight to pens if a draw?
  5. It was our one chance to win something this season, a trip to Wembley would have been superb. Now the best we can look forward to this season is finishing mid table in div 3 - woopie ****ing do.
  6. ****ing disgrace losing to **** like Torquay, no excuse.
  7. But the away support is not going to be moved this season, why shouldn't people who sit in Itchen North be able to sit there now with their friends?
  8. Whatever plans are for next season there is no reason to stop people being able to buy tickets in the Itchen North now. If I had forked out for a season ticket and was now told my friends can't sit with me I would tell the club to shove their ST up their ass. Some fans enjoy sitting in the Itchen North, forcing them to have a less enjoyable matchday experience is not going to encourage them to buy tickets.
  9. What's a Ponyboy?
  10. Is possible but very unlikely, we would need championship form just to stand a chance - even then we would need results to go our way. Portsmouth are "only 16 points" off top spot in the Prem.
  11. I would keep it the same as Saturday.
  12. People who sit in blocks 3 and 4 do so because they want to, trying to force people to sit in areas they don't want will just mean less people will buy tickets. Whoever came up with this masterplan is a ****.
  13. I don't think it was a coincidence that we won when Scheiderlin was not playing, Wotton might not do the nice flicks or hollywood passing but he does the simple things well. I would keep things the same, our record with Scheiderlin in the side was awful.
  14. But if it's season ticket only in the Itchen corner, how are away fans going to be sat there?
  15. Maybe, but fact is they are perfectly free to choose which way they shoot first half. If they thought it was an advantage shooting to the Northam 2nd half, they would shoot to the Northam 2nd half. Thread closed.
  16. Have they given a reason for doing this? Seems daft to stop people buying tickets, or forcing people to move.
  17. The players are free to choose to shoot to whichever goal they want, it just depends who wins the toss. If they thought it made a difference they would just shoot the other way.
  18. The skates are an embarrassment to the Premier League, everything connected to them stinks of corruption and I wouldn't be surprised if the PL are itching to get shot of them. How can you market the PL as the best league in the World when you have ****ty little clubs like this making you a laughing stock. They could probably put up with their corruption if they had fans and a stadium but they have neither and are a shining example of everything that is wrong with football today.
  19. What a dumb thread, even if noise levels make any difference it's still just as important to play well in the first half as the second.
  20. You are a ****, 99% of true Saints fans would love it if they go bust.
  21. He made a mistake in backing Wilde, but he was not the only one who fell for his bull****, IF he backed the Pinnacle group he made another mistake there too. He also made Churchillian speeches, which may have been misguided. But he is a Saints fan who tried to help, he always had the clubs best interests at heart and unlike many other, he put his money where his mouth is. For that reason he will always be popular with the people of Southampton.
  22. Because these internet things are a magnet for weirdos, manic depressives and loners. Most normal football fans just go to watch a game with their mates and have a laff, they don't spend all day having virtual chats with complete strangers like us sad ****ers.
  23. I can't see them getting any favours, all the other Prem teams at risk of relegation will make sure of that. If anything I expect the PL to make an example of them.
  24. Making an area Season Ticket only does seem a strange thing to do. I can't see any logical reason. Sometimes I wonder about the people at SFC, you wouldn't expect a company to treat their customers in this way. If the ST only thing is true the very least they could do is announce it before people fork out their cash and give good reason for it.
