When "opinions" are posted purely to elicit a reaction, they are not worth arguing with because that is exactly what you want. This why 99% of people on her dislike you. With you it is not about debate for debates sake it is about being antagonistic and having a feeling of smug superiority. If that`s what "floats your boat" then that`s fine but don`t squinney when the nasty people aren`t nice to you. As far as your views on MLT are concerned, I suspect that most, if not all Saints fans knew that he was "lazy", "lacked ambition" and "could have bettered himself", but, do you know what -THEY DON`T CARE about that! They recognised him for the supreme natural skill that he displayed, his loyalty and his down-to-earth quality that made him one of them, not some distant obscenely rich superstar. NOTHING - not even your continual wind-uppery will change that no matter how hard you try, but if it makes you happy..... go for it.

Did they have German writing and a swastika on them??
-
I am suitably admonished!!
-
Ah, but they were a Prem team playing lowly L2 opposition whilst we are lowly L1 playing mighty Prem opponents. On the other hand, Poopey fans are so passionate about their club that they will go to watch them whoever they are playing. This is why they need a state-of-the-art 40,000 seater stadium to fit them all in.

It wasn`t "The Fake Doctor" in his ice cream sellers jacket was it??
-
AP sounded quite downbeat on Solent when talking about Murty. Said he would be out for a few weeks.
-
He`s a Morris Dancer??
-
Saints deserved the applause tonight. I thought that the team played some of the best football that I have seen them play for a long time and they couldn`t be faulted for effort. Had the Murty injury not happened, I think that we would probably had won. We lost because the difference between Prem and L1 just about told in the end.

If you are just interested in the result, there`s no point in going to a game. Read the results in the paper then move on.

Don`t you bloody start!!

Sadly 19C doesn`t know when to give up. He/she has stopped being deliberately antagonistic and controversial and is becoming a laughable parody of his/her self. You just know that if you said something was black, 19C would be on here like a shot saying that it was white just to get a reaction. Sad.
-
TBF he came across really well. Seemed quite happy to talk about everything. His love for the club was evident. Great, great bloke.
-
He was asked, and spoke about Pinnacle for a while, but not in enough depth to appease 19C.
-
No it`s his team mate Al O'Peeshia that we`re interested in.

Traditionally, my mum used to give us a Christmas morning hair-cut before we had a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
-
Come on you lot, just bee-hive yourselves, this is a football forum, not "Hairdressers Weekly"
-
It`s very sad to see everyone carmen out of the woodwork with these hair related remarks.
-
Radio Solent this morning said that a certain player would be missing from tonights team as he was in discussion with another club regarding a transfer and that "fringe" players would be given a chance to prove themselves tonight.
-
Just wait until we "Grammar Police" get going.
-
May be, but this is the Prem. They can make up or bend their own rules don`t forget.

But it`s not about differing opinions. FF posted a bit of information that he had and was told that he was a bull****ter. The poster had, I would imagine, no knowledge as to whether that information was correct or not but dismissed FF in an insulting way. You could say "just get over it" but why should he? Sensible exchange of views and opinion is perfectly fine, and along with a laugh and a joke is how things should be, but there is a trend on here for people to respond, not in an intelligent way, but with with base insults.

Is that a Barcalona fan at the wrong game sitting in the front row, above the d above the water bottles to the left of the Flybe sign?
-
He just KNEW that having that Chicken Madras the night before would have a devastating effect on the opposition players.
-
Yes they have, and it`s so good that they repeat it over and over again.
