We should take any punishment dished out with good grace. If we are bought out and our debts paid off then I suspect the penalty will not be imposed. If our debts are not cleared then we deserve to be punished appropriately. Getting people to say they will put £500 - £5000 on a poll is very different to getting them to write the cheque for those monies. In the current economic climate money is tight for a lot of people and most people even those with lots of money are being very careful. Personally I think it is a hollow gesture and a total non starter. There is also a fact that you have not put a £0 option on the poll as that would be my contribution. I love Saints and always have. I will contribute by buying tickets throwing a bit of loose change in a bucket or sending a personal donation via paypal. I just do not want fan ownership as I see it as a disaster and another road to infighting. Just look at this message board as an example full of infighting and lack of sense and agreement to disagree on there opinions. For me we need to find an investor. The fan buy out is a waste of time and would never happen. Will the Saints Forum consider putting any surplus donations (above and beyond there running costs) or any future donations into the save our saints appeal? I would be very willing to become a Full Member if they gave this guarentee and I am sure a few others would too.

Spot on. Our Wilde love in and attitude of anyone but Rupert Lowe has really come to bite the fans of this great club right on our arses. Oh and before anyone says it I include myself in this. Personally I think you are being naive in thinking the opinions of fans on internet forums and those who write letters to the echo\club are those that the club should take notice of. There is a silent majority here and they deserve their chance to stand up and be listened to.

I could not agree more. There is a long list of supporters with the right attitude to make an attempt at getting this to work. Please lets not let the loud mouthed vocal few sabotage this.

Very disappointing result after leading the match so late on. You have to think though it could have been so much worse. We are doing OK for points won on our current form but we could do with a few others around us not picking up so many. That is why matches against your relegation rivals have to be won, especially when you are at home. That is 2 points dropped and could be costly come May!

I do not post much anymore and some would say that is a good thing. My reason is in part because of the club, the team and how things are going. What really is there to say? Nothing is likely to change bar our fortunes and form once in a while. I am rather board of the same old arguments and people's inability to agree to have a different opinion. It is also the I am right and you are wrong brigade. Ask yourselves this are you really RIGHT? Are you 100% sure you know everything that is going on?
