Let's say I've got an old fireplace which I covered over with mdf and then plastered, but now I want to rip it all open again and install a good old-fashioned open fire with fireplace and hearth etc, who on earth should I be calling? Is there such thing as a fire tradesman who can do the 'whole job' as it were? Am going to go to the Open Fire Centre in Shirley later on as they seem like a good start!
