You are like a black cloud hanging over this forum these days; every opportunity to flag up potential negativity and bang - in flies Batman. Quite depressing really given our position in the league.
I suppose the question we need to ask ourselves is this: would a Saints of last season or indeed many seasons past have gained a point against a home team who parked the bus and showed no ambition, whilst playing so poorly? No? Then it's a good point earned tonight.
Out of interest, what size shirt should somebody who is 6'6" with a 46" chest and no beer belly get, given the apparent sizing issues? (And no smart comments along the lines of "none, because grown men shouldn't wear replica shirts" :-))
Scottish Daily Record reporting that VVD has been ordered to stay away from Celtic's training ground ahead of a possible move today. Saints mentioned as possible destination.
Unless the intention, given our seeming difficulty getting in a winger, is to put him at right back and push Clyne further forward. Might that be a possibility?
Indeed! I notice too that Leicester paid £7M for Brighton's Ulloa who has no prem experience. Makes Long with his 4 or 5 seasons in the top flight look like a steal in comparison.
