The "Pathway" to the first team looks to have been blocked off again, as has been mentioned the same team get picked and no "kids" even getting rotated through the bench. So a "whats the point" attitude can quickly set itself in. This is going to be an interesting few days.

Thats what Mrs JBS quipped too. Sadly I wasn't there Friday due to being in the Far East with work, but Mrs JBS dragged daughter number one along in my place, they thought the singing was more about the club not the shower in red and white stumbling around on the pitch. Fair play to them they stayed until the bitter end. .................I would have probably done the same, but then I like a bit of gallows humour.

You not had a flick through Sky when there is bugger all on? its like football porn and your kinky perversion is Liverpool! If you were to be beamed in from outer space you would be forgiven for believing that Liverpool had never every been off the top of the table since the beginning of time

Boufal looks like he has regressed through being dropped as when he came on he looked like he was trying too hard to make a point.

Trouble is if he ended up rotting on full pay, and had a negative attitude, you then have a stink about the place and a rotten apple rolling about too! He said himself he didn't want to be here. I know Man United are no great shakes this season - but the Longstaff boys for the Toon suddenly gave their midfield a bit more solidity. Harrison Reed being the tenacious player he is might have kept Romeu. PEH, and JWP on their toes right now their is very little to worry their names on the team sheet.

Think in reality of the 15 wins in soon to be 61 home games was about to become a reality pretty early on, most folks saw it as being a safe bet as the game trundled on - as said elsewhere the afternoon was summed up on the final whistle when pretty much everyone left in the ground wasn’t prepared to waste any more energy on the team and Boo the performance. Doesn't matter which way we were kicking, you could have kept the Chelsea fans in the car park all game and it would have still been like a library.

15 in 61 - if you have sat through all 61 of those games as I would imagine a core volume of the supporters sat in the ground have, you can understand the wholesale lack of enthusiasm cascading down from the stands.

The swing and a miss was against Palace for a goal that Benteke had no chance whatsoever of missing for a change. You are right to think it was against Villa as Forster had a similar brain fart in that game too. The ball was heading towards him with acres of space he hesitated then decided to depart the safety of his line to get the ball, trouble was the player in pursuit of the ball, despite both him and his legs heading into the twilight of their career, was Gabbi Agbonlahor, probably one of the most rapid players across a football pitch that many of us have ever seen in his heyday! He switched his legs on got to the ball first, rounded Forster 1-0 to the Villa.
