  1. I'm not sure the AA's completion report has been linked on the thread, but still a good reminder to have to see what is owed. Some pertinent points: Football creditors - £22.4m deducted from parachute payments (so when are the remainder PP scheduled? Was there a fee for drawing on season two early?) Unsecured creditors - have risen from approx £83.3m to £87.2m after reclassification of some football creditors. (So £2.6m due April) Gaydamak is currently owed circa £2,400,000 under his debenture [from paying off Barclays] and will be paid from contributions received into the Liquidation as per the sale agreement and from any other assets realised in accordance with the Insolvency Act 1986. Portpin hold a deed of priority over the Freehold stadium, known as Fratton Park, in priority to Barclays Bank Plc and AG’s debenture. Portpin Limited was to pay all unsecured creditors with claims of up to £2,500 in full and pay any amounts owed to Charitable Organisations in full. I advise that Portpin Limited has paid all Charitable Organisations in full and has passed all creditors’ claims of £2,500 for review and payment. In the voting of the CVA, £131m of unsecured credit was used. HMRC debt went down from £37.8m to £23.8m.
  2. That would be a downward spiral, how far do you need to follow procedure before it is made redundant or the court is deciding on points of procedure rather than evidence. It would be better to make procedures easy to follow and transparent rather than overly bureaucratic.
  3. Did Bamford score? He seems highly rated and likely to see first team action this season. He scored five and had three assists in the last round.
  4. But which one?
  5. Not quite, HMRC are owed 1.6m so far. I can't believe you left that of the list especially as the WUP was in the gazette today, and let's not forget future paye and tax responsibilities.
  6. ...or womanhood!
  7. The amounts match give or take a mill, the trouble is when are they due - in time to pay the CVA? Also what is the burn rate at the club considering the £11m invested by CSI has gone.
  8. A shame as you missed a 10 minute spell where the midfield actually took control of the game and passed the ball around... sigh!
  9. I don't care as both outcomes will result in much hilarity all the while you bleat about us which is just as funny. After all, it is a Saga! Perhaps your time spent on here could have been better spent in protesting about the hierachy of PFC, you're posted more times than the majority on here?
  10. Well now they can put back shredded paper to see what was originally typed.
  11. That boat was missed the last time Chainrai was owner when he could have ordered a more circumspect player recruitment driver and given a decent young manager a chance. But he went short term for a chance to return to the PL or at least a quick sale on a side riding high in the Championship. That quick sale only brought Antonov, he was apparently the best of the bunch and didn't even give Chainrai any money for the club (repayment plan was reneged at the first time of asking). Currently they still have too large a wage bill to sustain on downward attendences, parachute payments that will only just cover the CVA scheduled to start in April, a wreck of a stadium which needs fixing and no chance of a change in owner type. It looks like the end game.
  12. I'm sure we went through the film titles a few hundred pages ago (as well as some padding). Panda's scenario makes most sense to me but will Chainrai get lucky with finding another owner which reminds me of Clint Eastwoods character Dirty Harry... Which reminds me of a certain court case starting tomorrow!
  13. So if I knew there was some cash due (parachute payment or new owner arrives) fairly soon but I had no cash in the bank to pay an outstanding bill, perhaps selling an asset or two to tie things over would be the ideal solution (eg Surman for us). But no, twenty days into the window and the best they can do is get the wage bill down a bit.
  14. This was one area where the FL were (I wonder if it has been postponed?) to tighten up insisting clubs were up to date with their tax payment otherwise a transfer embargo would be enforced. All part of getting HMRC of the clubs back in case of administration.
  15. If I was there I would be going mental. Cheering and whooping for a great gouge by the bull.
  16. The only asking price is how much is the entity worth to Chinny if he's left to selling everything. The ground is registered as worth £10m but that's top end price and what is the access like, I.e has Gaydamak got land completely surrounding it?
  17. But as the past has shown it doesn't really matter how many bidders there are, the quality of the interested parties have ranged from loan shark to fantasist. Will that change?
  18. From the beeb, with some interesting remarks: A businessman trying to buy Portsmouth has threatened to withdraw from the process by the end of the day in a dispute over the terms of the sale. Italian businessman Joseph Cala says he has yet to agree terms with the club's major creditor Portpin, controlled by former owner Balram Chainrai. Cala told BBC Radio Solent a planned conference call with the Football League today has been postponed. That call will take now take place on Monday if his bid proceeds. Meanwhile the administrator handling the sale of the club has described Cala's decision to speak publicly about his bid as both "extraordinary and disappointing." Andrew Andronikou is not expecting to finalise a deal until next week, and although earlier this week he told BBC Sport there was a preferred bidder, he now says two or three parties remain in contention. Pompey's parent company, Convers Sport Initiatives entered administration in November, forcing the Championship club to search for new owners. There is an urgency to complete a deal, as investment is needed if Portsmouth are to meet ongoing running costs. BBC South understands any purchaser would need to provide £12m as proof of funds, and assurances they could meet another £20m in repayments to former creditors, Chainrai and Alexandre Gaydamak. Only one potential buyer has gone public in the process, Italian-American Cala. Portsmouth's chief executive David Lampitt last week told BBC Radio Solent he had been left "gutted" by the club's latest financial crisis. Andronikou acted as an administrator at Fratton Park in 2010 and has been involved in a similar role with CSI.
  19. Sounds like everything went right from them in the report. Cannot see anything from their forums about player assessments and the like, only that they should swap with the first team!
  20. A distant descendant was a Sheriff of London (tax collector)... it's been downhill ever since!!!
  21. A young lad called Bamford got 5. Don't know what they are like, they could be good or Wigan could be really bad!
  22. I've heard of increase risk to hip dysplasia that can occur with tight swaddling but nothing about adverse skeletal development. I think the swaddling would have to be very tight and for prolonged periods of time along with other factors such as diet. There are cultural cases in Asia of infant girl's feet being wrapped for years to be of a certain shape.
  23. They actually posted a £6.8m profit on the last set of accounts. If they do not go up this season or next, it's game over and the bongo brothers will be penniless.
