Only watched the second half. Over ran in midfield until the subs and change to 5 at the back and Quarshie could occasionally step up. Robinson a good outlet. Fraser played well enough. Just missing a bit of dynamism in midfield. Welington far better than Manning.

Forest have bid for Fernandes (reported in various news outlets). Don’t know the starting bid, it wasn’t stated.

Also said we don’t need to sell the good players… things change it seems. I think it will depend on what choices there are to get a decent quality player in compared to a loan player.

It’s strange as I have been watching a few clubs podcasts including Birmingham and Wrexham as the majority of them raise personality and leadership in a player. Such a big miss for us these past four seasons or so that there hasn’t been a Fonte, VVD, Marsden, Case type character.

From what I understand he owes more than what is being offered, hence his stance. He’s desperate, likely to lose most of it, he owns the ground under a different company, so all pretty shit up there for any takeover or new club to form.
