  1. Someone needs to press the urgency button on him. He’s done that about three times now.
  2. He’s started previous cup games
  3. Yes, from the Telegraph and Guardian reports
  4. I can see us in the final, however, over one game final, it can be a bit of a lottery. I just hope if we get there we have Downes available and a fit squad who have picked up a bit form and resilience in the last dozen matches.
  5. I think you expect too much from statistics, they don’t make a decision for you. Besides it depends on what the statistics measure and how that is interpreted. PS. Regardless of any stats, Manning is not a very good defender.
  6. Can do, depends on the terms and premiums the insurance company set to mitigate the risk.
  7. Apparently the second charge is more likely to get a penalty.
  8. He reached Academy Director at City and had been there a fair while. He wanted to go beyond the academy level but no opportunity at City.
  9. After September loses, we have caught up with them by something like three points and that was including our unbeaten run. Had to carry that to the end of the season to have had a chance but not going to turnover an eleven point gap in 14 games with Leicester suffering a collapse in form and results. Nice to dream but there is also Leeds and Ipswich to think about. Leicester are on course to achieve 104 to 108 points this season.
  10. and not get promoted? That'll be odds of like 5000-1. 👀
  11. One of those days, just like some they won unconvincingly at the start of the season but had the quality to get a goal.
  12. Final score
  13. But QPR take the lead against only one team in Bristol.
  14. He’ll be technical director so a reduction in responsibility to what he has now but at a much bigger club. I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t go. So who can we ‘steal’ that can carry on the turnaround at Saints?
  15. I think this where RM has been superb with his subs and having such a good bench. Such an advantage being able use up to five.
  16. Unfortunately he’s not alone in that and that’s the annoying part in this ball possession, it’s not exactly keeping the opposition on its toes and help break the lines. General Saints do well in the attacking third, it’s getting there which is the hard part and when Downes is out it suffers more.
  17. I doubt money comes into it. It’s whether he wants to be part of the team that has a chance to turn united around and if reporting to a SD can give him an important role to be able to do what he wants. If it works it’ll elevate his status no end.
  18. I think some of the criticisms have been justified and it can be a bit of a lottery to predict the successful path of a young player. He certainly improved since the dire start of the season and still a long way to go but I’ve always thought there was a decent player there. I hope he carries on working hard and makes it, which I’m sure the naysayers do as well.
  19. A player played for both sides… standup Richard Dryden, now there’s a player! I think he ‘played’ about 50 games over five years for Saints and when not injured was pretty clueless.
  20. When 45% of the electorate think the last election was rigged, Trump is on course to win. That’s not accounting for the Biden gaffes. It seems Trump can say/do whatever he likes and they’ll back him.
  21. sorry which season are you thinking about?
  22. time to improve the goal difference with 13 minutes added on
  23. 10+ added time to find a winner!
  24. Just need the refs to officiate appropriately.
