Thanks. A bit sketchy at times.

Different manager now although they play with a target man and wingers.
-
Close but they paid £15.4 million for him. The record is £16m for Mike Tresor last year! I had to google as I thought it was Neves as well.

Tends to do well in derby matches. Concentrates the mind maybe, he just can’t sustain the effort over a period of time. Will be an interesting game to watch (sky) or listen to (radio 5) considering the stakes for both managers, more so with Russell (bags packed already) Martin.
-
He wasn’t backed at Swansea or MK Dons as well. I'm sure it’ll carry on happening.
-
Combination so it keeps defenders guessing and different ways to play. Fraser has been a bright spark so far in a testing start to the season. It would be odd to see him go unless it’s a wage saving situation.
-
What with big clubs hoarding U21s, tempting players to join even at that stage, it’s extremely difficult to try a build a squad to challenge for promotion and then provide a platform to stay up.
-
This is the pool we’re having to fish in due to relegation and limited funds. I just hope the scouting department is geared up to better find the gems more often than not. Unfortunately the step up to premier league is getting bigger so any promotion would mean a huge outlay to try and stay up.

Gives them another season with Hackney, who is the valuable player to the team. Before he gets to move up to the PL unless ‘boro do it this season, which seems more competitive than ever.
-
Maybe sensible, but costly and doesn’t want to come to Saints. I can see players like Stanley Mills, Issac Price which SR need to keep tabs on but have missed out on.
-
Hopefully the German translation, otherwise it’ll take him too long to read before the window slams shut.
-
You have the numbers the wrong way round for Downs. Initial fee is £6.8m. Yes, it still doesn’t make him a first team player yet.
-
I think the other piece to add is the fantastic youth system Saints had in place at that time. maybe too many players to bin off what with PSR regulations to worry about. No idea, but it would certainly help for a faster reset to move on a number of players that at best would be loaned out.
-
Can plan all they like but when the squad is too big in the first place, it’s difficult to adjust in the right direction especially when the decent players are leaving as well.
-
Make that five

After you sir, no after you, no I insist…. Oh fuck!
-
Home leg tonight and away leg on the 27th, I hope he can get Rangers through to the group stage but will be tough against Brugge.
-
They were lucky to get to half time 0-0, but fair play for turning it around and getting a win. A team not playing well but getting wins is always a threat.
-
I’m glad you agree. It seemed that some only wanted to assess at a certain time.
-
Surely any assessment at any time will have its limitations and can only judge on what has happened, even then fans will not have all the facts. That’s one reason companies continually assess and make adjustments to the ways of working to improve. I’m sure folks will make another assessment at the beginning of October to see how the team are performing and the new team mates are adjusting. one thing to note compared to last time Saints went down is the circumstances are a little more challenging with a large squad and more players to go out.

Also depends on who on our list of alternatives are left and achievable. Good time to go on holiday and come back on the 1st September.
-
Can we have another option to have our money back if he turns out like Skacel?

Since being down in the championship last time, switched from the Athletic, which no longer had a dedicated journalist for Saints info to NTT20. Far, far better presenters and content and get to know the two other leagues as well. Never had sky so nothing to miss.
