  1. None, the PDT own fat pipes but have to pay the mortgage set by Robinson AND Portsmouth City Council which, as we have been informed is at a nominal rate, but have no evidence to back it up. This is why the PP are being used to pay the mortgage before the players and why they want the fans to buy more shares so they can meet the schedule in the coming years while setting a health wage of £1.1m per annum. Also if less than 12k fans turn up, their income projections need adjusting. Guy needs a good start to life in league 2... The pressure is on!
  2. Where is St Chalet to scrub the last few posts not on topic?
  3. As do I, but I still want a laugh now and again. I'm sure if they stick to a prudent fiscal policy the club will thrive and this thread will die.
  4. Just missing time and place.
  5. Now if only someone else can put down their prediction as factually as that ;-) I was thinking that this would be the end of the thread, no more laughs now the PDT has final won the battle for the club and it will be run more as a business, but then I thought there are so many people involved this cannot end well. we'll see, just like the other times new owners have come in and made promises that were not kept and this thread will capture the hilarious moments of it all.
  6. Because that is only a subset, as is WBA h&a and QPR home. I think Kraken has summed it up well, not relegation fodder but not quite mid table also rans.
  7. I see some haven't changed their views... Admirable words from Guy but £1.1m will be blooming tight!! Mind you how many other lg2 clubs can pay that? They say that's outside other clubs?? who has more than that?? To me if they said if we increase the budget to say £2m would we accept a 10% rise in ticket prices. I would for sure. At least we'd be bankers for prpromotion so 10% rise in ticket prices equals £900k! Pompey maths at work again.
  8. But we're not in the championship?
  9. I hope we kept the receipt.
  10. Skates cunning plan for Fat pipes park... http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/video/2013/apr/24/sewer-fat-energy-electricity-plant-video
  11. That can form question 25. How much is the additional amount of PP from the PL and when is it due to be paid?
  12. I don't think you understand, it was an idea which didn't get far enough to cancel, but don't let that portsmyth get in the way like the dock strikes, WWII tank commander, huge debt we have etc. Anyway, I wish PST well in their endeavour to be 100% fan owed and debt free going forward.
  13. edit: wrong total!
  14. ... and the UEFA's Respect Fair Play rankings, based on all UEFA competition matches played at club and national team levels from 1 May 2012 to 30 April 2013.
  15. A) ta B) it's ok if you pay of the balance when due and the rate is no longer 0%, something you didn't elude to doing!
  16. Two points... You're not normal anyway ;-) and it looks like there are others that are wasting money as well
  17. No ref, it's this bit that smells.
  18. Yep that's right, MP was very involve, although that maybe partly down to having to promote them after losing so many players from the first team with the club having to sell. With our players, they'll only move up when ready for the challenge, I think the management team are acutely aware that players develop at different speeds and they will be given time and the right environment to help reach their potential.
  19. Q1. What are your opinions on Southampton's season so far - has it gone how you expected? Good considering the start, expected to struggle a bit due to lack of experience and strengthening the CB position. Q2. What are your opinion on WBA's season so far? - Have we exceeded your expectations? Solid, expected mid table from the canny Steve Clarke side. The Mulumbu and Yacob partnership has been fundamental with Lukaku proving the goals. Q3. You made a controversial change not so long ago. What are your thoughts on MP and what difference has he made to your side? Shocked when it happened, expected it ealier after the game against you as we have a very ambitious and driven chairman. MP has done very well considering it's a new league, new language and new squad. He's added a bit of structure in the way we press the oppostion more effectively and given the players a bit more confidence in going forward in crafting an opening rather than shuffling the ball across the pitch waiting for something to happen. Hoping he can move us a couple of places. Q4. What are your opinions on West Bromwich Albion Football Club and its supporters? Well run club, financially sound, hope they get rewarded for it. Lucky to be rid of Appleton! MiL doesn't like them as they cause havoc on the local trains. Q5. Peter Odemwingie became a laughing stock during the transfer window. What did you make of his antics and how our club dealt with it? Hilarious! Club acted correctly, a shame Hoillet (?) didn't want to go to you as it would have been a good trade for a parties. Q6. The game at The Hawthorns finished 2-0. What were your opinions on this game? We were sh!t, lowest ebb of the season, you were OK controlled the midfield. Q7. Which players should we be wary of in your side and who do you fear in our side? Team game, but J Rod and R Lambert for the special stuff. Q8. What side is MP most likely to choose for Saturday's encounter? Depending if the virus is still around, the same vs Swansea with perhaps Shaw coming in for Fox. Q9. And finally, score predictions. 2-0 saints of course.
  20. Comedy gold and he doesn't realise it!
  21. That's brilliant that is!
  22. There is an easy solution if they want to avoid the 10 point penalty.... pay the CVA from the first admin.
  23. I know he's old (29) but he's free and valuable experience for the youngsters to learn from and help out the midfield for a whole season - Joan Verdú
  24. I'm clean and can stand tall.
