I'm sure they are the biggestest spenders in the division but I suspect- as no evidence has come to light- that they are still in budget. The fans share may well have been diluted a bit, to enable the HNWI to dip into their pockets and the Robinson/Tesco payoff may have been used to sustain the spend so it'll be interesting to see what happens to the budget next season if they cock up promotion. If promotion is gained, there will be plenty of other clubs that can match them in the spending and wages stakes so will they risk an overspend at that stage?

Yes, I think the only thing that can scupper a deal for Mane is that if we get Euro football and the deal isn't acceptable for the club (£30m minimum at a guess). Another factor is the how long Mane's contract has got to run - do you know?

I would have thought Wanyama as the only definite. Mane probable, Pelle possible for next summer's exodus.
