  1. Odd thing was seeing him play in his first few games it seemed patently obvious that he was way off the standard required for a starting PL goalkeeper - genuinely all attributes which make a decent keeper were awol. On relegation, had the club been looking to develop and actually help Bazunu he should have been loaned to a League one or overseas side to build strength, confidence and learn his trade away from the pressure (like we did with Flowers previously). You have to assume someone at Board level in the club is so desperate for a return on investment that they insist on persevering. To me, he looks well short of what we need when Ramsdale goes, and plain daft to continue the pantomime under Still and Spors.
  2. Season before last my seat was in line with 18 yard box and most of those around me used to despair and vocalise when he was picked and the inevitable incompetent fuck up happened, you could feel the collective angst. Say what you see I suppose.
  3. To be honest, I think a couple on here were sucked off by him!
  4. I rated Dick Van Dyke but his interviews in that fucking mockney accent were appalling!
  5. After Eastleigh today, home shirt from the front in the flesh 8/10, from the back 1/10. Such an easy fucking win they miss every year!
  6. I think goalkeeper is our big 'canary in the coalmine' position in terms of Still and Spors knowing their onions. If Ramsdale goes, we need a new number one, simple as that. The tippy tappy in the eighteen yard box was probably Bazunu's 'best' attribute under Martin, it was the actual goalkeeping (physicality, decision-making, and shot stopping) which consistency let him down.
  7. I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!...
  8. Blimey, must want some serious barnet and gnashers work doing! Maybe Spors and Still should chat him up about a new Saints chapter over a kebab.
  9. That's the crux perhaps, it's great signing these talented youngsters with potential, but the safety net is to have a solid, committed and reliable first team squad so that this potential can be fully realised. I hope that we will significantly add to that goal in the coming weeks.
  10. With a fucking sell on clause! Remarkable really.
  11. I'm more interested in the clobber - safari sogoody!
  12. Wishful thinking but I am doing the same. Will be very squeaky right up to the window close, however. One positive sign so far is the decent fees we've received for surplus players, more of that and we can at least negate the effect of a drop in wages, as we appear to have tried with Ramsdale. Keep praying...
  13. Sounds about right for those dipshits.
  14. This is the main age bracket / market / sizing for the shirts after the kids, so a handy fanzone preview of what to expect.
  15. Yes, about as useful as Roy Cropper.
  16. That's one benefit of getting an opera box at a concert, but expensive.
  17. Or at the very least, his own orifices...
  18. Agree. Class act Brooks.
  19. Turktown!
  20. Yeah I know, but that's not modern football, most of the power is vested with the players and their agents, likes of Lallana and Van Dijk sagas taught us that years ago. But, both Ramsdale and Fernandes seem to have some personal character and have some affinity with the club beyond lip service. My guess is that they'll see what offers come in right up to the close of the window. Not impossible that either might prefer a rejuvenating season with Saints tearing up the Champs, than a relegation battle in the Prem, per se, but would be unusual and require dice to fall in favour.
  21. Been a few hints from Solak and club media that they are attempting something with Rambo and Fernandes, but will be a slim chance and would have to be very 'creative'. Dibling most likely to stay of those with an obviously higher ceiling, but money talks. I think it's going to be like last time with Ward-Prowse, with the 'right' offers coming in late in the window when the Prem clubs start panicking. The two departures so far suggests Spors and Solak will at least play hard ball on fees.
  22. 100% this, and I think it might be the June/July strategy.
