  1. You're no more an exile than me! I'm only yards down the road from you (in the scheme of things).
  2. I guess it's pure co-incidence that ABP are going to try to get permission to develop Dibden Bay again?
  3. So - am I reading this right? 1. BT were called in as experts in business reconstruction (that's another skill they have). 2. They quickly saw that the recovery plan instigated by the club wasn't working (partly because the gates weren't holding up - that was part of the plan). 3. They also quickly realised that the gates were falling because of dislike of the board (i.e. RL) 4. So the solution was - get rid of the board. Also, as the company was insolvent, it HAD to be put into administration. In other words, if RL hadn't been at the helm, we probably wouldn't have gone into aministration. Or is that too simples?
  4. You're right - that didn't make sense, did it Until a couple of years ago, I used to work with a guy who did read it. He always got me to finish off the crossword and sudoku when he got stuck and I used to then read the paper for a laugh. But since he left, I've never read it.
  5. I'll be able to do proper work and not spend my life on here
  6. Oh you beat me to it again. I was about to unregister and got the unavailable message too.
  7. The Guardian is my first choice. Although left-leaning, it's not above criticising the government (which patently isn't left-leaning). If it's sold out, then The Independent is my second choice. I could never, ever, bring mysel to read any of the red tops because they're rubbish. The Daily Mail's headlines are always questions, designed to inflame. The questions are never answered.
  8. Do we know this to be the case?
  9. Does he though? I thought his contract expired at the end of last month. Chances are this month he was retained on a casual basis until things were sorted I would have thought
  10. Apparently they've done their due diligence. Remains to be seen whether they get 'Fit and Proper' passsed.
  11. No, he's not 'just an employee'. You yourself said he was a Director. He therefore has corporate responsibility - that's what happens when one is a director.
  12. Aren't questions being asked about Hydra's method of operation. Isn't it a sort of Ponzi scheme? Fit and proper eh?
  13. Does Markhus Want Saints Love 613 %

  15. Was that when we were paying a mortgage and overdraft charges?

  17. Because he hasn't offered to, that's why! If they didn't accept his (or a similar) offer, they would have been left with nothing. Simple as....
  18. However, it did get a mensh on BBC News 24 just now!
  19. Oh Pontipines - don't be such a spoilsport!
  20. I'm virtually kissing you all right now
  21. I'm not Wotte's biggest fan but I thought he was very dignified in that interview on South Today. When asked what his future was, he said that he'd met the new owners about four weeks ago  but he was just happy that the club had been saved. He said he'd felt very sorry for all the uncertainty experienced by the fans (paraphrasing).
  22. Is that Barry the Briefcase on his summer hols?
  23. I'll go for 3pm, me
  24. I wonder if the troll actually supports any team of any description. If he does, may I tactfully suggest he f*cks of to that team's forum instead.
