I met Oscar Garcia the other day and he said 'hello' to me, so I am IKT on this one. Please note - I cannot divulge details of any talks he may have had with our board relating to our managerial vacancy because a) any discussions would've been confidential and b) all he said to me was 'hello'. I would imagine Remi Garde speaks English after his spell at Arsenal and he's available and now being linked with Brighton. Could be good for us I'd have thought unless French football experts on here think otherwise?

I think the board needs to come out and make a really strong statement either that a) Poch has been given permission to speak to Spurs despite being offered a new contract or b) there is no foundation to any of these stories. At the moment we look like we are being mugged for MoPo and have not given up much of a fight. We need to be clear what the situation is in the light of incessant media rumours he is off and Les Reed's statement is too long ago to count. Personally, if he goes, I'll be massively disappointed as I felt we were on the cusp of something really good. As things stand, I can see more than the 2/3 players leaving that THEVMAN alluded to as we will have been perceived to have been a soft touch with Poch (rightly or wrongly). Ralph has come across as open & personable, Gareth Rogers hasn't said enough publicly to be seen as a strong CEO. The board need to get a grip to show the fans their mettle & convince us they have the capabilities to keep us progressing with or without Poch. At present, I can't say I've seen anything which would give me confidence but I guess there's always hope, if nothing else, and maybe we can attract someone even better?

We should never have switched to an all red kit. It's just made Liverpool imagine what our players would like playing for them...

To be fair though, if some people are to be let go, where some aren't, it is always the case that the other guys should've gone instead...

Could you take the calls for all incoming bids? Presumably the worse the bid, the bigger the raspberry? Or would that give away how much we are really looking for?

These talks which were supposed to happen last Monday, but didn't, could they take place on any Monday, today even, or is no-one talking any more? Or is there no need to talk because MoPo has 1 year left on his contract? Or are Spurs talking except they can't without our permission? Or do they have our permission but we don't know which is why we are not talking? Why does everyone keep talking to the press but not first hand? Could the press be the ones who are talking? When does the new season kick off...?

I like the fact they've adopted the stance that if they ignore the rumours and bids, they're not real.

He probably wants assurance that what happened at Espanyol isn't going to be repeated here. Players sold but no funds to replace them. It'll be sad if Adam & Luke go, he'll probably be disappointed too but if the funds are given, he may feel he can still build a sued to push on.
