Have to be honest, couldnt watch the second half. Bad for my anxiety. So I will say this, great first half performance- much to my surprise - from everyone. Some will complain about Salisu being rash and fair enough but his first card was never a yellow. What makes this doubly satisfying is that we didnt break the record of most goals conceded in a calendar year and even if we dont beat Newcastle, 4 points against West ham and spurs was not 4 points that I was expecting. Fantastic stuff.

Yup, defo booking and a pen but the gripe I have is the first booking. Turned to my mate a few mins before the pen and said the ref was giving them everything. Thats why Ralph got booked cos he was complaining about the same thing.

Just fwiw on your last point, I had my booster on monday and I was given a 15 minute sit down. Everyone was. Just saying 👍

Tbh, Im very happy with a point from that. Yes we can complain about McCarthy with the first goal and we can moan about fading in the second half but the truth is - as everyone on here knows- other clubs simply have better players than us and it really showed in the second half. It is what it is, thats our budget and Leicester have good players all over the pitch. Thought KWP was great tonight and the two cm did well. Armstrong is clearly still struggling and although it was great to see Tella starting, you could see his rustiness translated in his hesitancy once it got around the box. Special mention for me goes to a player Ive previously hammered and thats Redmond. I thought he was excellent in the first half. We desperately miss the drive of Stu thru the middle tho. Christ, we could do with someone as good as Maddison in our midfield. Anyway, hard to watch second half but happy with the point and the first half performance.

Totally agree with this. AA made some great runs between the cbs and we bottled it and took the safe pass wide. So frustrating. Screaming at the TV to play it thru.

What I will say, what I was really happy about and Im sure a few people noticed was before the game when I saw the subs. We have proper depth for the first time in years. Also impressed with Ralphs subs and the timing of them also. MoM toss up betweem Adams and KWP for me

I see lots of people voted Ely MoM. I really dont get it. Can someone please explain to me why ? Im really not sure what he adds and was in the second half always making the wrong decisions.

Im still a Ralph fan......( just) and its almost impossible to argue with your points about team selection ie Walcott over Tella etc and his late subs. But we are playing quite well and it also begs the more important question : replace him with who ? And dont say Howe !

Everyone is saying the Adams and Armstrong dont work together, but there was no creative spark from an incredibly workmanlike midfield. I dont think you can keep hoofing balls into the pockets between the oppo full back and cb and expect our forwards to make something happen. There was no transition between the midfield and forwards. Ely doesnt have it and I wont even bothering to mention the other one on thw wing.

And didnt the keeper kick it out ?

I was also reading a few Everton fans comments. Im not sure if its just sour grapes but a lot of them reckon he has a terrible attitude, especially given his age, and theyre glad to see the back of him. Worst case scenario, at least we haven't spunked a load of money on a back up left back. Best case scenario, he settles down and we sell him for a shedload in a few years.
