  1. Forgot to mention, I'm mates with a good mate of his agent so not quite first hand but he has no reason to BS me. After that take what you want from the info.
  2. FYI for everyone. His agent says he is a two year project with us ( expected) and also, here comes the bad bit - he has a 40m buy out. Apparently one of the terms of the deal which is I suppose the way we operate now so let's enjoy him for the next two seasons. If he lasts that long !
  3. In all honesty, it would clearly be preferable to sell him but if a loan is what it takes to keep him away from the starting 11 then I'm totally up for that.
  4. Yup, exactly
  5. no worries mate, decent of you to apologise, I realise how these messages can come across in the wrong way. Take it easy. Up the Saints
  6. Fwiw my friend, I didn't realise he'd left him out for much of pre season. Just responding to the last match.
  7. Blimey, alright mate. Slightly more aggressive response than was needed.
  8. Yeah but there's chasing, and then there's chasing. How much would we really be chasing a pre season friendly ? Especially if he sees Che starting next week. Tbh, I think the whole article, for many reasons, is nonsense.
  9. Frightening thought isn't it.
  10. Let's be honest, we don't need to visit the spurs forum to form an opinion of Winks. It's blindingly obvious to anyone with an ounce of common sense that Winks is a long way away from what our squad needs. I mean way way waaayyyu down the pecking order.
  11. Oh just seen the injurys
  12. Wtf is that team !!!!
  13. With just two games left of this season, Southampton are running out of time to stage their annual 9-0 drubbing: a wonderful festival of fun that sits nicely alongside Monty Python and The Fiver as one of this countryโ€™s finest comedic traditions, oozing in both slapstick and classic British self depreciation. made me laugh from today's guardian
  14. Funnily enough I'm watching the game and had exactly the same thought lol
  15. Just to add my comment if anyone really cares. I've always been a Ralph fan and am incredibly grateful to him for all he's done for us under ridiculously tough circumstances and at times has had us playing very good football. I've never really wanted him to go before but for me also, I think it's time he leaves
  16. Lol. It's so Saints. Play really well against the good teams then drop loads of winnable points. At least we're safe with 10 games to go. Feels like they're on the beach already. Just need man City to do us in the Q final and see you all next season.
  17. I do hope you're right and I love your positive thinking ๐Ÿ˜‚
  18. Erm.........no. I wouldn't have thought so. That's the thought that ran thru my head about 5 seconds after he scored.
  19. Solid win against a poor team ,( we also made them look poor). OR was MoM even before the goal. Shouts out to KWP and Stu.
  20. Always remember when we took 10,000 to Selhurst to play Wimbledon needing a win to stay up. That was pretty special for me.
  21. Probably my favourite ever season. Honestly, the quality of goals we scored that season was ABSURD. We could have had a GOTS contest for the league featuring only Saints goals. F**k you Robert Rosario ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  22. Love squires
  23. I really cant see this happening but would take him in a heartbeat
  24. Come on mate, please dont start any post like that. I actually agree you on most of the rest of it but if you start a post like that its immediately divisive and theres not really any need for it. I hate the petty bickering on here, its so tiresome and that opening comment is exactly the sort of thing that sets things off. There is no them lot and us lot. We all love saints and we're all entitled to our opinion. Anyway, didnt mean to have a go but just wanted to say that.
  25. Do you think its him finally realising or possibly the fact the squad depth has helped him this year ? Ive always been a fan of his even tho some of his decisions have totally baffled me but I can't help but think that having such a poor squad has left him with his hands tied at certain times. Im thinking - but could obviously be wrong - that theres a correlation between him being more tactically flexible and having a bigger, better squad.
