  1. Not convinced all of them will leave. Onuachu has just come from the Belgian league, Orsic from the Croatian league, DCC has dropped off the international scene in recent years and Sulemana was a bit part player for Rennes towards the end. Yes it wont be what they signed up for, but the Championship is still one of the best European leagues outside the top 5. The deciding factors will be who is in charge of the team and the vision being sold by the owners. Get both right then players can be persuaded to stay and it could be a quick return to the PL.
  2. Its fairly common knowledge that we keep track of alot of managers for an extended period, as we do with players (with the use of the black box or whatever its current iteration is). Jones did a pretty good job for Luton the past 18/20 months (hes never told us) so it would be no surprise to see that we tracked him for that length of period. But we would have tracked lots of others. The big issue is how he ended up number 1 on our list. I struggle to see how Jones' lack of top flight experience and lack of genuine success (cups/promotions) gets him anywhere near the top - unless some further metrics are added to the database (looking at you Ankersen). Lets hope the black box, or whatever it is now, is being interogated for the next few days for Jones' successor - and Ankersen isnt looking at the results inverted
  3. Tbf he has been absolutely dreadful in his two appearances. Also didnt pull up any trees for the B team on Friday
  4. Giving it the big one would be ok if we were winning games of football.....but we're not
  5. Newcastle were technically joint bottom xmas last year and survived
  6. Its becoming more clear that Selles really isnt this super coach that some of our fans think he is. Hopefully he'll be out on his arse soon enough too
  7. No manager would take a job if that was the case. It just doesnt happen at any other club. And if it is happening, then more fool Jones for going along with it. Im sure when Jones is sacked we'll hear his side in a tell all interview no doubt. Though there will definitely be plenty of arse saving from Jones. Can put the blame on others that it all came crashing down so quickly
  8. The pressure is only going to gather pace now, the players will see the comments on social media, Ian Wright's criticism etc. Might get away with those sorts of post match comments in the Championship. In the PL every single word gets poured over in fine detail
  9. 100%. Dont get me wrong, Ralph was let down badly in the summer. But we should have making a change of manager at that point, not prolonging the agony. He was a broken man by the end of last season
  10. Lets face it, hes not going from managing one of the top sides in the league, champions league football etc, to then managing in the Championship 😂
  11. Well then leave the other 72 clubs out of it if you want. Guess what, worst team in the PL, by a distance. Dont be blaming Broja, its all Ralphs doing. But sure lets bring Ralph back. Almost as embarrassing as "give it to Nigel until the end of the season"
  12. Here we go again, reinventing Ralph. As pish as Jones has been, Ralph's last year was equally as shambolic. Do we need to break out the 90 out of 92 teams stat again. If Jones keeps up his 1 win in 7 record, he'll prob still better Ralph's last year in charge. We need to find somebody better than the both of them
  13. He already told Everton that it wasnt enough time to implement his style. Asked to take their under 21s sure 😂
  14. Not convinced the players are dictating to Jones how they should play. You hardly hear a peep out of them on the pitch, so doubt they could muster the balls to dictate to the manager on the training ground/changing room. I'd go with Ankersen or Selles. Its just chaotic. Doesnt get on with some players it appears and is now calling out certain individuals for how we're playing. Crisis club
  15. Fat Sam definitely isnt the answer, he wouldnt be able to keep this team up. There also doesnt appear to be many other top managers who would want to come to us right now. And Selles until the end of the season is not the answer either. Like I've said before I would be surprised to see us change the manager again this season. But that interview doesnt help Jones' case at all
  16. Prepare to be amazed then 😂

    CB Options

We'll be cashing in on Salisu come the summer anyways as he wont be signing a new deal at this stage. Stay up and we bring in a quality CB to compete with ABK and DCC (if he hasnt had enough of Jones by that stage). Go down and we'll be likely be losing Salisu, ABK and possibly DCC too. Can already see the club statement welcoming 'Jacky S' back to the club 😂

    CB Options

I would have DCC ahead of Janny B. At least DCC makes a point of trying to play forward and between the lines. Janny B takes zero risk on the ball and about 75% of his passes are sidewards to the full backs or back to the keeper, even under little pressure. His forward thinking is a 5 yard ball to Lavia or Diallo just in front of him. Its infuriating to watch but maybe thats what Jones wants 🤦🏽‍♂️
  19. In between the last two options for me. It wont be a shockingly low points total (reckon we'll hit the 30 mark), and although we'll fight to the end, relegation will likely be confirmed with 2 or 3 games to go sadly
  20. With a back 4 of Tete, Ream, Diop and Robinson. Three of whom were regulars in that dismal relegation season for Fulham and Diop who was surplus to requirements at West Ham. You could easily make the case for us having a better back 4 with KWP, ABK, DCC or Salisu and Perraud. But just shows what good coaching and organisation is doing for Fulham
  21. Sometimes players go to a club and it just doesnt work out. Marseille signed him months after they played against him/Salzburg in the EL semi final. He was excellent for Salzburg, albeit in a less competitive league. I think he's done well for us when called upon. Jones also talks about the need for height/physicality/aggression. Well hes the tallest CB we have and arguably the one who is the most physical (in a controlled manner unlike Lyanco the loose cannon). The red card was taking one for the team, when nobody else felt the need to stop ASM
  22. Shields will have had nothing to do with Chelsea's recent recruitment. Also going forward hes a small cog in a big machine. They've a 5 man recruitment team with the likes of Paul Winstanley, Christopher Vivell and Kyle Macaulay alongside him. Also noticed a certain Simon Gillett is a scout at Chelsea
